เมื่อวันที่ 5 มิถุนายน 2568 นายวิเชาวน์ รักพงษ์ไพโรจน์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องให้การต้อนรับนายธานี แสงรัตน์ เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำกรุงโซล ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ ณ ห้องประชุม WHA ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้มีการหารือถึงโอกาสการค้า การลงทุน และแลกเปลี่ยนนวัตกรรมระหว่างไทยและเกาหลีใต้ โดยเฉพาะสาขายานยนต์แห่งอนาคต ระบบราง อุตสาหกรรมป้องกันประเทศ และพลังงานสีเขียว อาทิ ไฮโดรเจน และได้เน้นย้ำถึงความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี การแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ตลอดจนการสร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างภาคเอกชนของทั้งสองประเทศ เพื่อส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจที่ยั่งยืนในระยะยาว ตลอดจนสนับสนุนการจัด Business Forum ระหว่างภาคเอกชนของทั้งสองประเทศ เพื่อเป็นเวทีในการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล โอกาสทางธุรกิจ และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในเชิงพาณิชย์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม อันจะนำไปสู่การขยายตัวของการค้าและการลงทุนในอนาคต
นอกจากนี้ นายธานี ยังได้ประชาสัมพันธ์งาน ‘Sawasdee Seoul’ เทศกาลไทย เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมระหว่างสองประเทศ พร้อมทั้งเชิญชวนผู้ประกอบการไทยที่สนใจ มานำเสนอนวัตกรรมเทคโนโลยีใหม่เพื่อเปิดตลาดในเกาหลีใต้ โดยงานดังกล่าวจะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 6 – 7 กันยายน 2568
On June 5, 2025, Mr. Vichawan Rakkhapongphairoj, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with representatives from relevant industrial sectors, welcomed Mr. Thani Sangrat, the Thai Ambassador to Seoul, South Korea, at the WHA Meeting Room, 8th Floor, FTI.
Both parties discussed trade and investment opportunities, as well as innovation exchange between Thailand and South Korea, particularly in the future automotive sector, rail systems, the defense industry, and green energy, such as hydrogen. They emphasized cooperation in technology development, the exchange of expert personnel, and the establishment of networks between the private sectors of both countries to promote sustainable economic growth in the long term. Additionally, they supported organizing a Business Forum between the private sectors of both countries to serve as a platform for exchanging information, business opportunities, and promoting concrete commercial collaboration that would lead to future trade and investment growth.
Moreover, Mr. Thani also promoted the ‘Sawasdee Seoul’ event, a Thai festival to facilitate cultural exchange between the two countries, while inviting interested Thai entrepreneurs to present new technology innovations to enter the South Korean market. This event will take place from September 6 to 7, 2025.
