วันนี้ (26 มิถุนายน 2568) สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ร่วมกับสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (สกสว.) สถาบันวิศวกรรมปัญญาประดิษฐ์(AIEI) โดยมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ (PSU) เป็นหัวหน้าโครงการ และบริษัท อเมซอน เว็บ เซอร์วิสเซส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด หรือ AWS จัดพิธีเปิดโครงการ aFTi หรือโครงการพัฒนากำลังคนทักษะสูงด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์ในผู้ประกอบการภาคอุตสาหกรรมและผู้ให้บริการซอฟต์แวร์ด้านอุตสาหกรรม โดยมี ศ.ดร.สมปอง คล้ายหนองสรวง ผู้อำนวยการ สกสว. ให้เกียรติมากล่าวเปิดโครงการ ซึ่งโครงการนี้เป็นไปตามกรอบแผนงานการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนากำลังคนรายได้สูงให้กับประเทศใน 3 อุตสาหกรรม ได้แก่ อุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า เซมิคอนดักเตอร์ และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ณ โรงแรมคาร์ลตัน กรุงเทพฯ สุขุมวิท
ผศ.ดร.วรรณรัช สันติอมรทัต รองผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิศวกรรมปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AIEI) และหัวหน้าโครงการ ได้กล่าวถึงที่มาของโครงการ aFTi ว่า “โครงการนี้เกิดขึ้นจากปัญหาของการไม่เชื่อมโยงกันของฝั่งผู้พัฒนาของเครื่องมือ AI และฝั่งความต้องการของเครื่องมือ AI ซึ่งในโครงการนี้ได้มุ่งเน้นไปที่ความต้องการของภาคอุตสาหกรรม จึงได้ออกแบบโครงการพัฒนากำลังคนทักษะสูงด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์นี้ขึ้น เพื่อให้นำพาผู้พัฒนาเครื่องมือ AI และผู้มีความต้องการภาคอุตสาหกรรมมาเจอกัน โดยให้ผู้พัฒนาได้รู้ถึงโจทย์ในภาคอุตสาหกรรม และลงมือปฏิบัติสร้างสรรค์ AI โซลูชั่นได้จริง อีกทั้งยังสามารถพัฒนาคนในฝั่งของภาคอุตสาหกรรมให้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจในประโยชน์ด้าน AI อีกทางหนึ่ง”
“โครงการนี้ประกอบไปด้วยการพัฒนาคนที่เป็นรูปแบบทั้งด้านวิชาการ เพื่อปูพื้นฐาน AI ให้กับทั้งผู้พัฒนาและผู้ประกอบการภาคอุตสาหกรรม และรูปแบบที่เข้าพัฒนาร่วมกันในพื้นที่จริง เพื่อให้มีการเรียนรู้แบบลงมือทำจริง ซึ่งถือเป็นจุดเด่นของโครงการ โดยโครงการนี้ยังได้รับความร่วมมือจากพันธมิตรระดับโลก คือ AWS ซึ่งทางนายวัตสัน ถิรภัทรพงศ์ ผู้จัดการประจำประเทศไทย บริษัท อเมซอน เว็บ เซอร์วิสเซส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด หรือ AWS ได้พูดถึงความร่วมมือที่จะพัฒนากำลังคนด้าน AI ไทย โดยพร้อมสนับสนุนทั้งในรูปแบบของความรู้จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับโลก และด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่ไว้ใช้ในการลงมือปฏิบัติจริง ซึ่งจะยกระดับ AI Ecosystem ให้ก้าวไปอีกขั้น” ผศ.ดร.วรรณรัช กล่าวเสริม
นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) กล่าวว่า “ในช่วงที่ผ่านมา โลกของเราได้เข้าสู่ยุคของการเปลี่ยนผ่านทางเทคโนโลยีอย่างรวดเร็ว โดยเฉพาะในด้าน Digital & AI ซึ่งเข้ามามีบทบาทสำคัญในการปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการดำเนินธุรกิจ อุตสาหกรรมและชีวิตประจำวันอย่างที่ไม่เคยเป็นมาก่อน ด้วยเหตุนี้ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย จึงได้กำหนดยุทธศาสตร์สำคัญผ่านนโยบาย “4 GO” ได้แก่ Go Digital & AI ,Go Innovation, Go Global, Go Green โดยเฉพาะ “Go Digital & AI” ซึ่งเป็นกลยุทธ์สำคัญในการผลักดันผู้ประกอบการไทย โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่ม SMEs ให้สามารถประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและ AI ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ”
“โครงการ aFTi” จึงเป็นอีก 1 โครงการที่สอดคล้องกับนโยบาย Go Digital & AI ซึ่งมีเป้าหมายที่จะมุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมองค์ความรู้ การแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ และการสร้างบุคลากรที่มีทักษะในด้านเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูงของภาคอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อเตรียมพร้อมรับมือกับอนาคตที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยระบบ Digital & AI อย่างเต็มรูปแบบ”
“บทบาทของสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทยในโครงการ คือ การบอกความต้องการของภาคอุตสาหกรรม และการประชาสัมพันธ์ไปยังกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งมีผู้ให้ความสนใจโครงการนี้ เพื่อนำไปพัฒนาภาคการผลิตเป็นจำนวนมาก แสดงให้เห็นถึงการตระหนักในการปรับตัวของภาคอุตสาหกรรม ด้วยการนำเทคโนโลยีเข้ามาพัฒนาธุรกิจ และเห็นว่าเป็นโครงการที่สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย พร้อมขับเคลื่อนร่วมกับหน่วยงาน AIEI ในโครงการต่อๆ ไป” นายเกรียงไกร กล่าวทิ้งท้าย
ด้าน ศ.ดร.สมปอง คล้ายหนองสรวง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (สกสว.) เน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของ AI ในภาคอุตสาหกรรมว่า “ในวันนี้ถือเป็นการแสดงออกถึงพลังความร่วมมือกันหลายภาคส่วน ทั้งภาครัฐ ภาคการศึกษาและภาคเอกชน นำโดยสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เอกชนในอุตสาหกรรม ผู้ให้บริการซอฟตแวร์ รวมถึงบริษัทชั้นนำทางด้านเทคโนโลยี AI อย่างบริษัท อเมซอน เว็บ เซอร์วิสเซส (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ที่จะมุ่งมั่นในการรวมกันยกระดับกำลังคนทักษะสูงด้าน AI ให้กับกลุ่มคนทำงานในภาคเอกชนเพื่อให้สามารถเกิด AI Solutions / Products ที่สร้างมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจให้กับประเทศ รวมไปถึงการทำให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรมสามารถเข้าถึงและใช้งาน AI solutions ที่จะช่วยให้ 47 กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมของไทยสามารถแข่งขันได้ในเวทีโลกอย่างยั่งยืน”

Today (June 26, 2025), the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), in collaboration with the Office of the National Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council (NRCT), the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Institute (AIEI), led by Prince of Songkla University (PSU), and Amazon Web Services (Thailand) Ltd. or AWS, held a ceremony to launch the aFTi project, aimed at developing a skilled workforce in artificial intelligence among industrial operators and industrial software service providers. Professor Dr. Sompong Khlainongsruang, Director of NRCT, graciously delivered the opening speech for the project, which aligns with the framework for advancing high-income workforce development in three industries: electric vehicles, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence (AI) at the Carlton Hotel Bangkok, Sukhumvit.
Associate Professor Dr. Wanna Rach Santiamornthath, Deputy Director of the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Institute (AIEI) and the project leader, introduced the aFTi project, stating, “This project emerged from the disconnect between AI tool developers and the demand for AI tools. This initiative focuses on the needs of the industrial sector, thus designing the high-skilled workforce development program in AI to bring together AI tool developers and the industrial sector's demands, allowing developers to understand the challenges in the industry and practically create AI solutions. Furthermore, it helps develop personnel in the industrial sector to understand the benefits of AI.
“This project involves the development of individuals through both academic means to lay the groundwork for AI among both developers and industrial operators, and practical collaboration in real settings to provide hands-on learning, which is a significant feature of this project. This initiative also benefits from cooperation with a global partner, AWS. Mr. Watson Thirapanthpong, Country Manager of Amazon Web Services (Thailand) Ltd., discussed the collaboration to develop Thailand's AI workforce, offering support in the form of knowledge from world-class experts and infrastructure for practical application, elevating the AI ecosystem to the next level,” Associate Professor Dr. Wanna Rach added.
Mr. Kreangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), remarked, “Recently, our world has rapidly entered an era of technological transition, particularly in the fields of Digital & AI, which play a crucial role in transforming business operations, industries, and daily lives like never before. As a result, the Federation of Thai Industries has established key strategies through the '4 GO' policy: Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, Go Green, particularly 'Go Digital & AI', which is a key strategy to empower Thai operators, especially in the SME sector, to effectively apply digital and AI technologies.
“The aFTi project thus aligns with the Go Digital & AI policy, aiming to promote knowledge sharing, experience exchange, and the development of personnel with advanced technology skills in the industrial sector to prepare for a fully digital and AI-driven future,” he added.
The role of the Federation of Thai Industries in this project is to communicate the needs of the industrial sector and to disseminate information to industry groups interested in this project for development in the production sector. This demonstrates an awareness of the industrial sector's adaptation by integrating technology to enhance business operations and signifies FTI's readiness to drive future projects alongside the AIEI,” concluded Mr. Kreangkrai.
Professor Dr. Sompong Khlainongsruang, Director of the Office of the National Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council (NRCT), emphasized the importance of AI in the industrial sector, noting that “Today symbolizes the collaboration of various sectors: government, education, and private sectors, led by the Federation of Thai Industries, private industries, software service providers, as well as leading companies in the AI technology sector such as Amazon Web Services (Thailand) Ltd., committed to enhancing high-skilled AI personnel for workers in the private sector to foster AI Solutions/Products that create economic value for the country, including enabling the industrial sector to access and utilize AI solutions that will help Thailand's 47 industrial groups compete sustainably on the global stage.”
