เมื่อวันที่ 27 มิถุนายน 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมการบริหาร ได้แก่ ดร.ภก.นิลสุวรรณ ลีลารัศมี รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายชัยวัฒน์ โควาวิสารัช ประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-ยุโรป นางสาวยุพิน บุญศิริจันทร์ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ ดร.อนุกูล แต้มประเสริฐ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมการบินและอวกาศ และนายพันธกานต์ ชนะกุล รองประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมดิจิทัล ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากสมาคมการค้าไทย-ยุโรป (TEBA) นำโดยนายปิแอร์ เจฟเฟร่ ประธานสมาคมฯ และคณะกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิในภาคธุรกิจและอุตสาหกรรมของยุโรป ณ สำนักงานใหญ่ ส.อ.ท.
การประชุมครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเชิงนโยบายและกำหนดยุทธศาสตร์ความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศไทยและยุโรปในด้านอุตสาหกรรม การขนส่ง โลจิสติกส์ และการตลาด โดย TEBA ได้นำเสนอแนวทางสร้างคณะทำงานร่วม (Joint Working Group) กับ 4 กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมหลัก ได้แก่ อุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ การบินและอวกาศ ดิจิทัล และห่วงโซ่อุปทาน เพื่อเร่งขับเคลื่อนโครงการความร่วมมือที่มีความสำคัญระดับประเทศ
หนึ่งในประเด็นสำคัญที่หารือร่วมกัน คือ การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน ภายใต้กรอบ ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) โดยเน้นย้ำถึงบทบาทของ "S – Social" ซึ่งครอบคลุมความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคเอกชนกับชุมชนท้องถิ่น การมีส่วนร่วมของผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย และการส่งเสริมความเท่าเทียมและคุณภาพชีวิตแรงงานในห่วงโซ่อุตสาหกรรม
TEBA แสดงจุดยืนพร้อมสนับสนุนภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย ด้วยการเชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายบริษัทชั้นนำในยุโรปที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญด้านเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูง รวมถึงเสนอจัดเวทีหารือและสัมมนาอย่างสม่ำเสมอ เพื่อถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ และประเมินผลความร่วมมือ โดยมีข้อเสนอให้จัดการประชุมร่วมระหว่าง ส.อ.ท. และ TEBA เพื่ออัปเดตสถานการณ์ภาคอุตสาหกรรมในทุก 6 เดือน และสนับสนุนให้กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมภายใต้ TEBA และ ส.อ.ท. ให้มีการหารือความร่วมมือต่อไป
สมาคมฯ ยังเน้นย้ำว่า ประเทศไทยมีศักยภาพสูงในการเป็น "ศูนย์กลางการผลิตและนวัตกรรม" ของภูมิภาค จากจุดแข็งด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน การเปิดกว้างด้านการค้าเสรี และความสามารถในการปรับตัวของภาคเอกชนไทย
ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวได้รับการสนับสนุนจากหลายประเทศในสหภาพยุโรป โดยเฉพาะเยอรมนี ซึ่งเห็นศักยภาพของไทยในการเป็นพันธมิตรเชิงกลยุทธ์ด้านอุตสาหกรรมและการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน โดยมีแผนดำเนินงานระยะยาวที่ครอบคลุมการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี และการสร้างแพลตฟอร์มความร่วมมือระดับภูมิภาค
ส.อ.ท. และ TEBA เห็นพ้องร่วมกันว่า ความร่วมมือไทย-ยุโรปครั้งนี้จะเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยก้าวสู่การเป็นผู้นำอุตสาหกรรมที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยนวัตกรรมและความยั่งยืนในเวทีโลก
On June 27, 2025, Mr. Kreangkrisun Thiennukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with the Executive Board including Dr. Phak Nilsuwann Leelarasamee, FTI Vice President, Mr. Chaiwat Kowawisarach, President of the Thai-European Business Association, Ms. Yuphin Boonsirichan, Automotive Industry Group Chairperson, Dr. Anukool Taempraesert, Aerospace Industry Group Chairperson, and Mr. Pantakan Chanakul, Vice Chairperson of the Digital Industry Group, welcomed a delegation from the Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) led by Mr. Pierre Jeffery, President of the Association, and distinguished committee members from the European business and industrial sectors at the FTI Headquarters.
The purpose of this meeting was to exchange policy insights and establish collaboration strategies between Thailand and Europe in the fields of industry, transportation, logistics, and marketing. TEBA presented a proposal to create a Joint Working Group with four main industrial sectors: automotive, aerospace, digital, and supply chain, to accelerate the implementation of key national collaboration projects.
One of the key topics discussed was sustainable development under the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) framework, emphasizing the role of "S – Social," which encompasses collaboration between the private sector and local communities, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of equality and quality of life for workers in the industrial supply chain.
TEBA expressed its commitment to support the Thai industrial sector by connecting leading companies in Europe that specialize in advanced technology, as well as offering regular discussion platforms and seminars to disseminate knowledge and evaluate collaboration efforts. It was proposed to hold joint meetings between FTI and TEBA every six months to update the industrial situation and encourage further discussions among the industry groups under TEBA and FTI.
The Association also emphasized that Thailand has high potential to be a "hub of production and innovation" for the region, owing to its strengths in infrastructure, open free trade, and the adaptability of the Thai private sector.
This collaboration has received support from several countries in the European Union, particularly Germany, which recognizes Thailand's potential as a strategic partner in industry and sustainable development, with long-term plans encompassing information exchange, technology transfer, and the creation of a regional cooperation platform.
FTI and TEBA jointly agreed that this Thai-European cooperation would be a significant step in propelling Thailand towards becoming a leading industry driven by innovation and sustainability on the global stage.
