เมื่อวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร ให้การต้อนรับนายอาเบะ อิจิโระ ประธานองค์การส่งเสริมการค้าต่างประเทศของญี่ปุ่นประจำกรุงเทพฯ (JETRO Bangkok) และนายซาโต้ ฮิโรยาสุ ประธานหอการค้าญี่ปุ่น กรุงเทพฯ (JCC) พร้อมคณะ ในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อรายงานผลสำรวจความคิดเห็นนักลงทุนญี่ปุ่นช่วงครึ่งแรกของปี 2568 รวมถึงแนวโน้มการดำเนินธุรกิจในประเทศไทย ณ ห้องประชุม Passion 802 ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
ผลการสำรวจล่าสุดของ JETRO–JCC ชี้ว่า นักลงทุนญี่ปุ่นมองเศรษฐกิจไทยในทิศทางที่ดีขึ้น และยังคงเชื่อมั่นในการลงทุนต่อเนื่อง โดยคาดว่าภาพรวมจะฟื้นตัวชัดเจนขึ้นในช่วงครึ่งหลังของปี แม้ยังมีความกังวลต่อผลกระทบจากมาตรการทางการค้าของสหรัฐฯ
แม้เผชิญความไม่แน่นอนด้านนโยบายการค้า นักลงทุนญี่ปุ่นยังคงเดินหน้าธุรกิจในไทย พร้อมขยายช่องทางการจำหน่ายทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ขณะที่ JETRO ยืนยันเดินหน้าสนับสนุนความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า และการลงทุนไทย–ญี่ปุ่น ผ่านการจัดกิจกรรมจับคู่ธุรกิจและความร่วมมือรูปแบบต่าง ๆ เพื่อสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อการลงทุน
สำหรับแนวโน้มการลงทุน พบว่าบริษัทญี่ปุ่นยังคงให้ความสำคัญกับประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะ 5 อุตสาหกรรมหลัก ได้แก่ ยานยนต์ (โดยเฉพาะรถยนต์ไฮบริด) อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เครื่องจักร อาหาร และผลิตภัณฑ์โลหะ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการลงทุนในสาขาอื่น ๆ เช่น สิ่งทอ เคมีภัณฑ์ ดิจิทัล ธุรกิจบริการ รวมถึงการลงทุนจากกลุ่มสตาร์ทอัพ และการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสีเขียว
On September 16, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with executive members, welcomed Mr. Abe Ichiro, Chairman of the Japan External Trade Organization, Bangkok (JETRO Bangkok), and Mr. Sato Hiroyasu, Chairman of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok (JCC), along with their teams, on the occasion of discussing the results of a survey of Japanese investors' opinions during the first half of 2025, as well as the business outlook in Thailand, at the Passion 802 meeting room, 8th floor of the FTI.
The latest survey results from JETRO-JCC indicate that Japanese investors view the Thai economy in a more positive direction and maintain confidence in continued investment, anticipating a clearer recovery in the second half of the year, despite concerns regarding the impacts of U.S. trade measures.
Despite facing uncertainties regarding trade policies, Japanese investors continue to pursue business in Thailand, expanding distribution channels both domestically and internationally. JETRO has confirmed its commitment to support economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Thailand and Japan through business matching activities and various forms of cooperation to create a conducive investment environment.
In terms of investment trends, Japanese companies still regard Thailand as a priority, particularly in five key industries: automotive (especially hybrid vehicles), electronics, machinery, food, and metal products. Additionally, there are investments in other sectors such as textiles, chemicals, digital technology, service businesses, as well as investments from startups and the development of green industries.
