เมื่อวันที่ 30 กันยายน 2568 สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เปิดเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยี ต้อนรับ ฯพณฯ บุญญฤทธิ์ วิเชียรพันธุ์ เอกอัครราชทูตวิสามัญผู้มีอำนาจเต็มประจำรัฐอิสราเอล ในโอกาสบรรยายพิเศษหัวข้อ “อิสราเอล : โอกาสเชิงธุรกิจและความร่วมมือด้านนวัตกรรม” โดยมีนายวิวรรธน์ เหมมณฑารพ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. พร้อมคณะผู้บริหารให้การต้อนรับ ณ ส.อ.ท.
การบรรยายพิเศษครั้งนี้ ฯพณฯ บุญญฤทธิ์ ได้ฉายภาพความสำเร็จของอิสราเอลในฐานะ “Startup Nation” ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำด้านนวัตกรรมระดับโลก โดยมีเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูงเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจกว่า 40% ของ GDP ทั้งยังเป็นที่ตั้งของบริษัทเทคโนโลยีมากกว่า 9,000 แห่ง และศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนา (R&D) ของบริษัทชั้นนำระดับโลกกว่า 500 แห่ง
นอกจากนี้ ฯพณฯ บุญญฤทธิ์ ยังได้เน้นย้ำถึงจุดแข็งของอิสราเอลในการลงทุนด้านการวิจัยและพัฒนาที่สูงถึง 4.5% ของ GDP ครอบคลุมในหลากหลายสาขา อาทิ เกษตรและอาหารอัจฉริยะ เทคโนโลยีการจัดการน้ำ ความมั่นคงทางไซเบอร์ การแพทย์ และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ซึ่งล้วนเป็นผลมาจากระบบนิเวศทางเทคโนโลยีที่แข็งแกร่งจากความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ เอกชน และสถาบันการศึกษา
นายวิวรรธน์ กล่าวว่า "การบรรยายครั้งนี้ถือเป็นโอกาสอันดีเยี่ยมที่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยจะได้รับทราบถึงศักยภาพและโอกาสในการร่วมมือกับอิสราเอล ซึ่งเป็นต้นแบบของการสร้างเศรษฐกิจด้วยนวัตกรรม ส.อ.ท. พร้อมที่จะนำองค์ความรู้ที่ได้รับมาปรับใช้ และส่งเสริมให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยพัฒนานวัตกรรม เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันในเวทีโลกต่อไป"
การหารือในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นสำคัญในการสร้างเครือข่ายและแสวงหาความร่วมมือที่เป็นรูปธรรมระหว่างภาคอุตสาหกรรมของไทยและอิสราเอลในอนาคต
On September 30, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) opened a platform for knowledge exchange on innovation and technology, welcoming His Excellency Boonyarit Vichianpan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Thailand to Israel, who delivered a special lecture on the topic "Israel: Business Opportunities and Innovation Collaboration," which was received by Mr. Wiwat Hemmatarap, Vice President of FTI, along with the management team at FTI.
In this special lecture, His Excellency Boonyarit illustrated Israel's success as a 'Startup Nation,' a global leader in innovation, where high technology drives more than 40% of the economy's GDP. Israel is home to over 9,000 technology companies and more than 500 research and development (R&D) centers of world-leading companies.
Moreover, His Excellency Boonyarit emphasized Israel's strengths in investing in research and development, which is as high as 4.5% of GDP, covering various fields such as smart agriculture and food, water management technology, cybersecurity, medical technology, and artificial intelligence (AI). This success is attributed to a robust technology ecosystem created through collaboration between the government, private sector, and educational institutions.
Mr. Wiwat stated, "This lecture represents an excellent opportunity for the Thai industrial sector to learn about the potential and opportunities for collaboration with Israel, which serves as a model of building an economy through innovation. FTI is ready to apply the knowledge gained and promote Thai entrepreneurs to develop innovations to enhance their competitiveness in the global arena."
This discussion marks an important starting point in establishing networks and seeking tangible collaboration between the Thai and Israeli industrial sectors in the future.
