เมื่อวันที่ 20 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นายนวพงศ์ สรโชติ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยาง นายบุญหาญ อู่อุดมยิ่ง กรรมการบริหารสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และรองประธานกลุ่มฯ ยาง และนายเอกชัย ลิมปิโชติพงษ์ รองประธานกลุ่มฯ ยาง ร่วมเป็นประธานเปิดการประชุม MOU Rubber ครั้งที่ 2 ของเครือข่ายนวัตกรรมยางพารา (Rubber Innovation Network: RIN) ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 20–21 พฤศจิกายน 2568 โดย ส.อ.ท. เป็นเจ้าภาพ ร่วมกับพันธมิตรสำคัญ ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ (ม.อ.) ศูนย์เทคโนโลยีโลหะและวัสดุแห่งชาติ (MTEC) และการยางแห่งประเทศไทย (กยท.)
ไฮไลต์ของวันแรกอยู่ที่การบรรยาย “เศรษฐกิจโลก–อนาคตผลิตภัณฑ์ยาง–บทบาทของเทคโนโลยี” ซึ่งช่วยเปิดประเด็นสำคัญเกี่ยวกับ ความสามารถในการแข่งขันของอุตสาหกรรมยางไทยในยุคที่โลกเปลี่ยนเร็ว ตามด้วยเวิร์กชอป Core Technology ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ทุกภาคส่วนร่วมกันมองหา “เทคโนโลยีศักยภาพสูง” ที่ไทยสามารถผลักดันสู่เชิงอุตสาหกรรมได้จริง
ในวันที่สอง คณะผู้เข้าร่วมได้ลงพื้นที่บริษัท เอ็น.ดี.รับเบอร์ จำกัด (มหาชน) จังหวัดชลบุรี เพื่อประชุมคณะกรรมการ RIN และเยี่ยมชมโรงงานจริง เพื่อเชื่อมโยง “โจทย์วิจัย” เข้ากับ “ความต้องการจริงของโรงงาน” ทั้งด้านผลิตภาพ คุณภาพ และการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ ซึ่งถือเป็นจุดแข็งของ RIN ที่มุ่งให้การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีตอบโจทย์ภาคอุตสาหกรรมอย่างแท้จริง
งานครั้งนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นว่า ทุกภาคส่วนยังเดินหน้าต่อเนื่องในหลายโครงการ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นโครงการทายาทอุตสาหกรรมยางพารา โครงการ Coaching โรงงาน รวมถึงความร่วมมือเพื่อเตรียมจัดงาน IRC 2025 ซึ่งจะเป็นเวทีระดับสากลของอุตสาหกรรมยางไทย
การรวมพลังครั้งนี้สะท้อนชัดว่า อุตสาหกรรมยางพาราไทยพร้อมก้าวจาก “ผู้ผลิตวัตถุดิบ” สู่ “ผู้สร้างเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม” อย่างจริงจัง รวมทั้ง เป็นฟันเฟืองสำคัญที่ช่วยเสริมความแข็งแกร่งให้อุตสาหกรรมยางไทยทั้งในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก
On November 20, 2025, Mr. Nawapong Sorasoti, Chairman of the Rubber Industry Group, Mr. Boonhan U-udomying, Executive Board Member of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Vice Chairman of the Rubber Group, along with Mr. Ekachai Limpichotiphong, Vice Chairman of the Rubber Group, presided over the opening of the 2nd MOU Rubber Conference of the Rubber Innovation Network (RIN), held from November 20-21, 2025. FTI hosted this event in collaboration with key partners including Prince of Songkla University (PSU), the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), and the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT).
The highlight of the first day was a lecture titled “Global Economy – Future of Rubber Products – Role of Technology,” which opened critical discussions on the competitiveness of the Thai rubber industry in a rapidly changing world. This was followed by a Core Technology workshop that provided all sectors an opportunity to seek out “high-potential technologies” that Thailand can genuinely promote to an industrial level.
On the second day, participants visited N.D. Rubber Public Company Limited in Chonburi Province for a meeting of the RIN Executive Board and toured the factory to connect “research problems” with the “real demands of the factories” in terms of productivity, quality, and the development of new products, which is a key strength of RIN aimed at ensuring that technology development genuinely meets industrial needs.
This event reflected that all sectors continue to make progress on various projects, including the heir project for the rubber industry, the factory coaching project, and collaboration to prepare for the IRC 2025 event, which will be an international platform for the Thai rubber industry.
This collective effort clearly indicates that the Thai rubber industry is ready to transition from a “raw material producer” to a serious “technology and innovation creator,” and serves as a vital cog in strengthening the Thai rubber industry at both the regional and global levels.
