วันที่ 20 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางสาวอรวรรณ ศิริวราสันติ์ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดสงขลา และนายวิโรจน์ จงวัฒนาเกษม กรรมการสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดสงขลา พร้อมด้วยนายสุรชาติ เชาวน์วัฒนา รองประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมโรงเลื่อยและโรงอบไม้ และกรรมการสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคใต้ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ในฐานะผู้แทนสภาธุรกิจ IMT-GT เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดโครงการสัมมนาเชิงปฏิบัติการและค่ายนวัตกรรมยางพารานานาชาติ International Rubber Innovation Camp 2026 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 20–24 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ โรงแรมคริสตัล หาดใหญ่ และอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ภาคใต้ จังหวัดสงขลา
งานนี้ จัดขึ้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมยางพาราไทยด้วยนวัตกรรมขั้นสูงและการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) เพื่อสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มและตอบสนองความต้องการของตลาดโลกยุคใหม่
ภายในพิธีเปิด ได้รับเกียรติจากนายโกศล บุญคง รักษาการแทนผู้ว่าการการยางแห่งประเทศไทย (กยท.) เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงานและเปิดการสัมมนาเชิงปฏิบัติการอย่างเป็นทางการ พร้อมด้วย รศ.นพ.สุนทร วงษ์ศิริ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ (ม.อ.) กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมงานและคณะทำงาน ตลอดจนผู้แทนจากศูนย์ประสานงานความร่วมมืออนุภูมิภาค IMT-GT (Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation : CIMT) ร่วมกล่าวถ้อยแถลงถึงความร่วมมือในการผลักดันคนรุ่นใหม่เข้าสู่อุตสาหกรรมยางพารา
อุตสาหกรรมยางพาราถือเป็นอุตสาหกรรมยุทธศาสตร์สำคัญของประเทศไทยและกลุ่มประเทศในอนุภูมิภาค IMT-GT
การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมครั้งนี้ของ ส.อ.ท. สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการผลักดันการเปลี่ยนผ่านจากการเป็นผู้ผลิตวัตถุดิบสู่การพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ยางพารามูลค่าสูงด้วยนวัตกรรม ผ่านการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และแนวทางการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมในหลากหลายมิติ อาทิ การบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “Future Directions of IMT-GT Cooperation: Opportunities for the Next Generation” และ “นวัตกรรมยางพารากับความสามารถใหม่ในการแข่งขันในตลาดโลก” โดย รศ.ดร.เอกวิภู กาลกรณ์สุรปราณี ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนานวัตกรรมยางพารา ม.อ. เพื่อเปิดมุมมองและสร้างโอกาสใหม่ให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการและคนรุ่นใหม่ในการแข่งขันระดับสากล
ไฮไลต์สำคัญของกิจกรรมตลอด 5 วัน ประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมลงพื้นที่ (Industry Immersion) ในวันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม เพื่อศึกษาดูงาน ณ ศูนย์เครื่องมือและห้องปฏิบัติการขั้นสูง มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ตลาดกลางยางพาราจังหวัดสงขลา (Songkhla Central Rubber Market) โครงการนิคมอุตสาหกรรมยางพารา (Songkhla Rubber City) และสหกรณ์การเกษตรจะนะ จำกัด เพื่อเรียนรู้กระบวนการแปรรูปน้ำยางข้น
นอกจากนี้ ในวันที่ 22 กรกฎาคม จะมีการเสวนาในหัวข้อ “การประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีและ AI ในอุตสาหกรรมยาง” โดยผู้ประกอบการชั้นนำจากภาคเอกชน อาทิ บริษัท จีฟินน์ รับเบอร์เทค จำกัด บริษัท ไทยชวนรับเบอร์ จำกัด และบริษัท ไทยเมด เบบี้โปรดักส์ จำกัด ร่วมแบ่งปันประสบการณ์และวิสัยทัศน์
โครงการยังมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาทักษะผ่านกิจกรรม Workshop ด้านการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และการคิดเชิงออกแบบ (Design Thinking & Innovation Lab) พร้อมกิจกรรม One-on-One Coaching ใน 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ (1) เทคโนโลยียาง (2) การออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ (3) การจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อม (4) การตลาดและการเงิน และ (5) เทคนิคการนำเสนอ ก่อนปิดท้ายด้วยกิจกรรม Demo Day & Grand Finale ในวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม ซึ่งผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจะนำเสนอผลงานนวัตกรรมยางพาราต่อคณะกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ เพื่อชิงรางวัลเกียรติยศและรับประกาศนียบัตร โดยมี รศ.ดร.เถกิง วงศ์ศิริโชติ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ เป็นผู้กล่าวปิดงานอย่างเป็นทางการ
ทั้งนี้ International Rubber Innovation Camp 2026 ถือเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการบ่มเพาะนักนวัตกรรมและผู้ประกอบการรุ่นใหม่ (Next Generation) เพื่อยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมยางพาราด้วยการผสานเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่และนวัตกรรม ขยายเครือข่ายความร่วมมือในระดับอนุภูมิภาค IMT-GT และเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของไทย อินโดนีเซีย และมาเลเซียอย่างยั่งยืน
On July 20, 2026, Ms. Arovan Sirivorasanti, Chairwoman of the Songkhla Provincial Industrial Council, and Mr. Wiroj Chongwatanakasem, a member of the Songkhla Provincial Industrial Council, along with Mr. Surachat Chawathatana, Vice Chairman of the Sawmill and Wood Kiln Industry Group and a member of the Southern Industrial Council of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), as a representative of the IMT-GT Business Council, participated in the opening ceremony of the International Rubber Innovation Camp 2026 workshop, held from July 20-24, 2026, at Crystal Hotel, Hat Yai, and the Southern Science Park in Songkhla province.
This event aims to drive the Thai rubber industry forward with advanced innovations and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create added value and meet the demands of the new global market.
During the opening ceremony, the Honorable Mr. Khosol Boonkong, Acting Governor of the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT), delivered the opening address and officially inaugurated the workshop, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sunthorn Wongsiri, Vice President for Research and Innovation of Prince of Songkla University (PSU), who welcomed participants and members of the working group, along with representatives from the IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation Center (CIMT), who also expressed their collaboration in promoting youth into the rubber industry.
The rubber industry is considered a strategic industry that is significant for Thailand and the IMT-GT subregion.
FTI's participation in this activity reflects its commitment to facilitating the transition from being a raw material producer to developing high-value rubber products through innovation, by transferring knowledge and strategies for industrial development in various dimensions, such as special lectures on “Future Directions of IMT-GT Cooperation: Opportunities for the Next Generation” and “Rubber Innovations and New Competitiveness in the Global Market” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ekavip Kalakornsurapanee, Director of the Rubber Innovation Research and Development Institute at PSU, to open new perspectives and create opportunities for businesses and the new generation in international competition.
Key highlights of the five-day event include an industry immersion activity on July 21, to study at advanced tool and laboratory centers at Prince of Songkla University, the Songkhla Central Rubber Market, the Songkhla Rubber City industrial estate, and the Chana Agricultural Cooperative to learn about the processing of concentrated latex.
Additionally, on July 22, there will be a discussion on “The Application of Technology and AI in the Rubber Industry” featuring leading private sector entrepreneurs, such as G-Fin Rubbertech Co., Ltd., Thai Chuan Rubber Co., Ltd., and Thai Made Baby Products Co., Ltd., sharing their experiences and visions.
The project also focuses on skill development through workshops on product development and design thinking (Design Thinking & Innovation Lab), along with one-on-one coaching in five areas: (1) Rubber technology, (2) Product design, (3) Environmental management, (4) Marketing and finance, and (5) Presentation techniques, concluding with a Demo Day & Grand Finale on July 24, where participants will present their rubber innovation projects to a panel of distinguished judges for a chance to win honors and receive certificates, officially closed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teaking Wongsirichoti, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Relations of Prince of Songkla University.
The International Rubber Innovation Camp 2026 serves as an important platform for nurturing the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs to elevate the rubber industry by integrating modern technology and innovation, expanding cooperation networks in the IMT-GT region, and enhancing the competitiveness of Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia sustainably.
