วันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 70 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย–ศรีลังกา (The 70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand) ภายใต้แนวคิด “Sri Lanka: Your Next Best Destination” เพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างไทยและศรีลังกาให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น โดยมี H.E. Mrs. Edirisinghe Arachchilage Sriyani Wijayanthi Edirisinghe เอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำประเทศไทย เป็นเจ้าภาพ ณ โรงแรมอวานี พลัส ริเวอร์ไซด์ กรุงเทพฯ
ภายในงานได้เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมสัมผัสถึงประวัติศาสตร์ความเป็นมาของศรีลังกา การเป็นศูนย์กลางสำคัญของพุทธศาสนา วัฒนธรรม และแฟชั่นศรีลังกาที่ผสมผสานความงามแบบดั้งเดิมและความร่วมสมัย รวมถึงการแสดงจากศิลปินชาวศรีลังกา
On November 24, 2025, Ms. Pecharat Aeksaengkul, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended a reception to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand under the theme “Sri Lanka: Your Next Best Destination” to further strengthen the good relations between Thailand and Sri Lanka. The event was hosted by H.E. Mrs. Edirisinghe Arachchilage Sriyani Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, at the Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel.
The event provided participants with the opportunity to experience the history of Sri Lanka, its significance as an important center of Buddhism, culture, and Sri Lankan fashion that blends traditional and contemporary beauty, as well as performances by Sri Lankan artists.
