วันที่ 18 ธันวาคม 2568 นายวิวรรธน์ เหมมณฑารพ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมชี้แจงข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับวิกฤตคอร์รัปชันในประเทศไทยที่ส่งผลต่อเสถียรภาพทางการคลังและภาพรวมของเศรษฐกิจไทย ต่อคณะอนุกรรมาธิการด้านการคลัง ในคณะกรรมาธิการการเศรษฐกิจ การเงิน และการคลัง วุฒิสภา โดยมีนางสาวชญาน์นันท์ ติยะตระการชัย เป็นประธานคณะอนุกรรมาธิการ ณ ห้องประชุม 301 ชั้น 3 อาคารรัฐสภา
ทั้งนี้ นายวิวรรธน์ได้สะท้อนความเห็นเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินการจัดการกฎหมายต่าง ๆ ของประเทศ ซึ่งมีมากกว่า 100,000 ฉบับ ที่ภาคเอกชนต้องปฏิบัติตามและต้องแบกรับต้นทุนในการดำเนินธุรกิจ รวมถึงช่องว่างในการบังคับใช้กฎหมายกับภาคเอกชน อันเป็นสาเหตุหนึ่งที่ทำให้เกิดการคอร์รัปชัน เช่น การขออนุญาต การตรวจสอบสินค้าก่อนส่งออก เป็นต้น พร้อมทั้งมีข้อเสนอแนะให้ภาครัฐเร่งดำเนินการเข้าร่วม OECD และมุ่งเน้นให้หน่วยงานกำกับดูแลการลงทุนสร้างกลไกในการป้องกันทุนเทา ซึ่งมีแนวโน้มจะเข้ามาในประเทศไทยเพิ่มมากขึ้น
นอกจากนี้ นายวิวรรธน์ยังให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานของสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทยร่วมกับคณะกรรมการร่วมภาคเอกชน 3 สถาบัน (กกร.) ที่ได้ดำเนินโครงการ Zero Corruption กกร. และ “เพื่อนไม่ทน” เพื่อผนึกกำลังภาคเอกชนในการต่อต้านคอร์รัปชันอย่างจริงจัง โดยมีกรอบการดำเนินงาน 6 ประการ ผ่านภาคีเครือข่ายภาคเอกชน ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างการขับเคลื่อนโครงการ และจะมีกิจกรรมอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมต่อไป
On December 18, 2025, Mr. Wiwat Hemmatanarop, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in a briefing regarding the corruption crisis in Thailand that impacts fiscal stability and the overall Thai economy before the subcommittee on finance in the Economy, Finance, and Fiscal Policy Committee of the Senate, chaired by Ms. Chayananant Tiyatakarnchai, in Meeting Room 301, 3rd Floor, Parliament Building.
Mr. Wiwat reflected on the management of various laws in the country, which amounts to over 100,000 statutes that the private sector must comply with and bear the costs of doing business. He noted the gaps in law enforcement regarding the private sector are one cause of corruption, including issues related to licensing and goods inspection before export, among others. Furthermore, he suggested that the government expedite its efforts to join the OECD and focus on creating mechanisms within investment regulatory agencies to prevent grey capital, which is increasingly likely to enter Thailand.
Additionally, Mr. Wiwat provided further information regarding the operations of the Federation of Thai Industries in collaboration with the Joint Private Sector Committee (JPSC), which has been implementing the Zero Corruption JPSC project and the “Unyielding Friends” initiative to unite the private sector in a serious fight against corruption. This initiative comprises six operational frameworks through private sector networks, which are currently being driven forward, with further concrete activities to follow.
