เข้าร่วมงานแถลงข่าวการจัดการประชุม IEEE ICRA 2030 ณ โรงแรมเดอะ เซนต์ รีจิส กรุงเทพฯ งานนี้จัดโดยสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (สสปน.) หรือ ทีเส็บ ร่วมกับคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เพื่อขับเคลื่อนพัฒนาระบบ Automation ภาคธุรกิจไทย
ดร.ศุภวรรณ ตีระรัตน์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (สสปน.) เปิดเผยถึงความสำเร็จของทีเส็บในการสนับสนุนให้ IEEE RAS Thailand Chapter คว้าสิทธิ์ประเทศไทยเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงาน The 2030 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (IEEE ICRA 2030) ซึ่งเป็นการประชุมวิชาการด้านเทคโนโลยีหุ่นยนต์และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของโลก และจะจัดขึ้นในประเทศไทยเป็นครั้งแรกว่า งานนี้สอดรับกับการจัดวาง Position ให้กับอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ไทยของทีเส็บ ในสภาวะที่ประเทศไทยต้องเผชิญกับการแข่งขันทางเศรษฐกิจในรูปแบบใหม่ที่กำหนดให้ประเทศต้องมีขีดความสามารถในการสร้างคุณค่าใหม่ หรือ New value creation เพื่อดึงดูดการค้าการลงทุน ประกอบกับรัฐบาลมีวาระแห่งชาติและยุทธศาสตร์ชาติที่พุ่งเป้าส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. จักรกฤษณ์ ศุทธากรณ์ กรรมการบริหารศูนย์เครือข่ายวิจัยประยุกต์ทางเทคโนโลยีหุ่นยนต์และชีวการแพทย์ (BART LAB) คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล กล่าวในนามของ IEEE RAS Thailand Chapter ว่า ความโดดเด่นของ IEEE ICRA คือเวทีที่ได้รับการออกแบบให้เชื่อมโยง Academia–Industry–Government อย่างแท้จริง ภาคธุรกิจได้พบกับนักวิจัย ผู้พัฒนาเทคโนโลยี และผู้ใช้งานจากทั่วโลกในเวทีเดียวในแต่ละปี จึงเป็นงานที่สามารถดึงดูดบริษัทเทคโนโลยีชั้นนำของโลกด้านหุ่นยนต์ ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ ระบบอัตโนมัติ เซ็นเซอร์ ชิป และซอฟต์แวร์เข้าร่วมสนับสนุน และสตาร์ทอัพใช้เป็นเวทีเปิดตัวเทคโนโลยีใหม่ ดังนั้น IEEE ICRA จึงเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการเปิดตัวและถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี จับคู่ความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยและธุรกิจ รวมทั้งสร้างโอกาส
ด้านการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต
นายมานะผล ภู่สมบุญ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เปิดเผยว่า นับเป็นโอกาสสำคัญของประเทศไทยที่ทีเส็บสามารถดึงงานเทคโนโลยีหุ่นยนต์ ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ และระบบอัตโนมัติระดับโลกอย่าง IEEE ICRA 2030 มาจัดในประเทศ เพื่อยกระดับสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมของภูมิภาค ท่ามกลางการเปลี่ยนผ่านและการแข่งขันในเวทีโลก ดังนั้น ส.อ.ท. จึงได้วางยุทธศาสตร์ 5I โดยเฉพาะ I1 : Intelligent Industry เพื่อส่งเสริมการนำเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล AI และหุ่นยนต์มาใช้ในภาคการผลิตควบคู่กับการพัฒนาบุคลากรผ่านแนวคิด RUN Concept (R: Reskill, U: Upskill, N: New Skill) ซึ่งงานนี้จะเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ระดับโลก การลงทุน และการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี เพื่อผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยก้าวสู่การเป็นฐานนวัตกรรมด้าน Robotics, Automation และ AI ของภูมิภาคอย่างมั่นคงและยั่งยืนต่อไป
On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Mr. Manapol Phusombun, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI)
participated in the press conference for the IEEE ICRA 2030 conference at The St. Regis Hotel, Bangkok. This event was organized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, to drive the development of automation systems in the Thai business sector.
Dr. Supawan Teerarat, Director of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), revealed the success of TCEB in supporting the IEEE RAS Thailand Chapter in obtaining Thailand's rights to host the 2030 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (IEEE ICRA 2030), which is the largest academic conference on robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) globally. This will be the first time the conference is held in Thailand, aligning with TCEB's positioning of Thailand's MICE industry amidst new economic competition that requires the country to have the capability for new value creation to attract trade and investment, in conjunction with the government's national agenda and strategic vision to promote future industries.
Associate Professor Dr. Chakkrit Sutthakorn, Executive Committee Member of the Biomedical and Robotics Technology Applied Research Network (BART LAB), Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, on behalf of the IEEE RAS Thailand Chapter, stated that the uniqueness of IEEE ICRA is its platform designed to genuinely connect Academia–Industry–Government. The business sector meets researchers, technology developers, and practitioners from around the world on a single stage every year, attracting leading global technology companies in robotics, artificial intelligence, automation, sensors, chips, and software to participate and support the event, and providing startups with a platform to showcase new technologies. Therefore, IEEE ICRA serves as a vital venue for the launch and dissemination of technology, fostering research and business collaboration, as well as creating investment opportunities in future industries.

Mr. Manapol Phusombun, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), stated that it is a significant opportunity for Thailand that TCEB has managed to bring the global conference on robotics, artificial intelligence, and automation, IEEE ICRA 2030, to the country. This will elevate Thailand to become a technology and innovation hub for the region amidst transition and global competition. Therefore, FTI has established the 5I strategy, particularly I1: Intelligent Industry, to promote the adoption of digital technology, AI, and robotics in the manufacturing sector, along with developing human resources through the RUN Concept (R: Reskill, U: Upskill, N: New Skill). This event will serve as an important platform to connect global knowledge, investment, and technology transfer, pushing Thailand towards becoming a stable and sustainable innovation base for robotics, automation, and AI in the region.
