เมื่อวันที่ 12 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย–จีน ภายใต้ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย พร้อมด้วย นายอนุวัตร เฉลิมไชย รองประธานสถาบันฯ นางสุภาณี จันทศาศวัต กรรมการสถาบันฯ นางสาวยศรา ลิมป์ไพฑูรย์ กรรมการและเลขานุการสถาบันฯ นายเรืองชัย โศภาวชิราคุปต์ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่าย ธนาคารกสิกรไทย (ผู้แทนรองประธานสถาบันฯ) และนายศรัณย์ วงศ์รัตน์ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายผู้รับเหมาต่างประเทศ เอสซีจี ดิสทริบิวชั่น จำกัด (ผู้ช่วยรองประธานสถาบันฯ) เข้าพบผู้บริหาร WHA Group นำโดย นายไกรลักขณ์ อัศวฉัตรโรจน์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่กลยุทธ์กลุ่ม WHA Corporation และนายปจงวิช พงษ์ศิวาภัย ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร WHA Industrial Development ณ WHA Tower อำเภอบางพลี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ
การหารือครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการลงทุนระหว่างไทยและจีน โดยมุ่งเน้นการเชื่อมโยงนักลงทุนจีนในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมของ WHA กับผู้ประกอบการไทยในเครือข่ายสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เพื่อเสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่งของห่วงโซ่อุปทาน และเพิ่มศักยภาพการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในระยะยาว
ทั้งนี้ สถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย–จีน พร้อมทำหน้าที่เป็นกลไกกลางในการประสานความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคเอกชนไทยกับนักลงทุนจีน เพื่อสนับสนุนการเติบโตของอุตสาหกรรมไทยอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
On February 12, 2026, Mr. Arun Iamsuree, President of the Thai–Chinese Economic and Investment Institute under the Federation of Thai Industries, along with Mr. Anuwat Chalermchai, Vice President of the Institute, Ms. Suphanee Jantasaawad, Board Member of the Institute, Ms. Yosra Limpaitoon, Board Member and Secretary of the Institute, Mr. Ruangchai Sophawachirakup, Director of Kasikorn Bank (Representative of the Vice President of the Institute), and Mr. Saranyu Wongrat, Director of Foreign Contractor at SCG Distribution Co., Ltd. (Assistant to the Vice President of the Institute), met with executives from WHA Group led by Mr. Krailak Asawachatrorach, Chief Strategy Officer of WHA Corporation, and Mr. Pajongvich Pongsivapai, Chief Executive Officer of WHA Industrial Development at WHA Tower, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province.
The purpose of this discussion was to create investment cooperation between Thailand and China, focusing on connecting Chinese investors in WHA's industrial estates with Thai operators within the network of the Federation of Thai Industries to strengthen the supply chain and enhance the competitive potential of the Thai industrial sector in the long term.
The Thai–Chinese Economic and Investment Institute is ready to serve as a central mechanism to coordinate cooperation between Thai private sectors and Chinese investors to support the sustainable growth of the Thai industry moving forward.
