เมื่อวันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นายหัสดิน สุวัฒนะพงศ์เชฎ รองเลขาธิการสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เป็นผู้แทนเข้าร่วมการประชุมบูรณาการความร่วมมือภาคการท่องเที่ยวและบริการ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมรองรับการจัดงาน “มหกรรมพืชสวนโลกจังหวัดอุดรธานี พ.ศ. 2569” (Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026) ซึ่งจัดโดยสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) โดยมี ดร.สุรัชสานุ์ ทองมี รองผู้อำนวยการทีเส็บ ด้านในประเทศ เป็นประธานการประชุม ณ อาคารสยามพิวรรธน์ทาวเวอร์
ในโอกาสนี้ นายหัสดิน กล่าวว่า ส.อ.ท. ยินดีให้การสนับสนุนด้านการประชาสัมพันธ์ เพื่อเชิญชวนสมาชิกเข้าร่วมจัดแสดงสินค้า ออกบูธ และร่วมกิจกรรมจับคู่ธุรกิจ (Business Matching) รวมถึงให้ข้อเสนอแนะในการเตรียมความพร้อมด้านการเดินทางและการอำนวยความสะดวกภายในงาน
สำหรับการจัดงานมหกรรมพืชสวนโลกจังหวัดอุดรธานี 2569 มีกำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2569 – 14 มีนาคม 2570 ณ พื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำหนองแด จังหวัดอุดรธานี ภายใต้แนวคิดหลัก “ความหลากหลายแห่งสรรพชีวิต: สายสัมพันธ์แห่งน้ำ พืชพรรณ และผู้คนสู่การดำรงชีวิตที่ยั่งยืน” โดยแบ่งพื้นที่จัดแสดงออกเป็น 6 โซน ได้แก่
1. Welcome & Services โซนต้อนรับและบริการนักท่องเที่ยว
2. International Gardens สวนนานาชาติจาก 15–20 ประเทศ อาทิ เนเธอร์แลนด์ สหรัฐอเมริกา และเกาหลีใต้
3. Greenhouse การจัดแสดงพรรณไม้หายากและการประกวดระดับโลก
4. Agri-Innovation เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมการเกษตรสมัยใหม่
5. Thai Heritage ภูมิปัญญาและวิถีเกษตรไทย
6. Carbon Credit Forest การฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศและการกักเก็บคาร์บอน
การจัดงานครั้งนี้ ได้รับความร่วมมือจากหน่วยงานพันธมิตร ได้แก่ สำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ กระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ โดยกรมวิชาการเกษตร องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดอุดรธานี ตลอดจนภาคเอกชน อาทิ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย และกรมการขนส่งทางบก เพื่อยกระดับมาตรฐานการบริการและระบบโลจิสติกส์ รองรับนักท่องเที่ยวจากทั่วโลก บนพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำ (Wetland) ซึ่งนับเป็นครั้งแรกของโลก
On February 16, 2026, Mr. Hasadin Suwatanapongchet, Deputy Secretary-General of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended a meeting to integrate cooperation in the tourism and service sectors in preparation for the "Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026," organized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization). The meeting was chaired by Dr. Surachanu Thongmee, Deputy Director of TCEB, Domestic Division, at Siam Piwat Tower.
On this occasion, Mr. Hasadin stated that FTI is pleased to provide support for public relations to encourage members to participate in showcasing their products, setting up booths, and engaging in business matching activities, as well as offering suggestions for preparation related to travel and convenience at the event.
The Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026 is scheduled to take place from November 1, 2026, to March 14, 2027, at the Nong Da Wetland in Udon Thani Province, under the main theme "The Diversity of Life: The Connection of Water, Plants, and People for Sustainable Living," with the exhibition area divided into six zones as follows:
1. Welcome & Services - Welcome and Services for Tourists
2. International Gardens - International gardens from 15–20 countries such as the Netherlands, the United States, and South Korea
3. Greenhouse - Exhibition of rare plants and global competitions
4. Agri-Innovation - Modern agricultural technology and innovations
5. Thai Heritage - Wisdom and practices of Thai agriculture
6. Carbon Credit Forest - Ecological restoration and carbon sequestration
This event has received cooperation from partner agencies including the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, through the Department of Agriculture, Udon Thani Provincial Administrative Organization, as well as the private sector such as the Federation of Thai Industries and the Department of Land Transport, to elevate service standards and logistics systems to accommodate tourists from around the world in the wetland area, marking a first in the world.
