เมื่อวันที่ 11 มีนาคม 2569 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) มอบหมายให้นายปรนนท์ ฐิตะวรรโณ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และประธานสถาบันดิจิทัลเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน Intelligent Asia Thailand 2026 โดยพิธีเปิดในครั้งนี้เป็นการผนึกกำลังครั้งสำคัญของหน่วยงานภาครัฐและพันธมิตรชั้นนำทั้งในและต่างประเทศ อาทิ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) การนิคมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (กนอ.) ศูนย์เทคโนโลยีอิเล็กทรอนิกส์และคอมพิวเตอร์แห่งชาติ (เนคเทค สวทช.) สถาบันไทย-เยอรมัน (TGI) สถาบันเพิ่มผลผลิตแห่งชาติ (FTPI) พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนจากสมาคมผู้ประกอบการระบบอัตโนมัติและหุ่นยนต์ไทย (TARA) สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมไทเป ประจำประเทศไทย (TECO) และคณะผู้จัดงานจาก Chan Chao International และ Mesago Messe Frankfurt ณ ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมไบเทค บางนา กรุงเทพมหานคร
นายปรนนท์ กล่าวว่า ภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยกำลังเผชิญกับความท้าทายครั้งใหญ่จากสถานการณ์ภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ ซึ่งรายงาน “The Global Risks Report 2026” โดย World Economic Forum ระบุว่า ความตึงเครียดทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์และการเผชิญหน้าทางภูมิเศรษฐศาสตร์ เป็นความเสี่ยงที่สำคัญที่สุดในปีนี้ เนื่องจากการใช้มาตรการทางภาษีและการควบคุมเทคโนโลยีเป็นเครื่องมือ ส่งผลให้ซัพพลายเชนโลกขาดประสิทธิภาพและมีต้นทุนการผลิตที่สูงขึ้น ส.อ.ท. จึงเร่งขับเคลื่อนนโยบาย “First Industries to Next-Gen Industries” ผ่านกรอบ “4GO” ได้แก่ Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global และ Go Green เพื่อเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม New S-Curve และเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันด้วยเทคโนโลยีอัจฉริยะ โดยมุ่งยกระดับระบบอัตโนมัติ ความพร้อมด้าน ESG การประยุกต์ใช้ดิจิทัลและ AI การขยายตลาดผ่านความตกลงการค้าเสรี (FTA) และการพัฒนาทักษะแรงงาน ซึ่งการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ระบบอัตโนมัติอัจฉริยะ (Smart Automation) ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการเพิ่มผลิตภาพและเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย
นอกจากนี้ ภายในงานยังมีการเสวนาพิเศษหัวข้อ “Thai Manufacturing Sector Proactive Strategy: Being the Leader of SEA” โดย ดร.สมสิทธิ์ มูลสถาน ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมป้องกันประเทศ ส.อ.ท. ได้ร่วมเป็นวิทยากรแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการปรับตัวเชิงรุกของภาคการผลิตไทย เพื่อรักษาความสามารถในการแข่งขันในเวทีโลก ภายใต้บริบทเศรษฐกิจและเทคโนโลยีที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว
ดร.สมสิทธิ์ ได้สะท้อนมุมมองต่อความท้าทายที่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยกำลังเผชิญ ทั้งการแข่งขันด้านเทคโนโลยี สงครามการค้า และการเปลี่ยนแปลงของโครงสร้างเศรษฐกิจโลก รวมถึงปัจจัยภายในประเทศ เช่น โครงสร้างประชากร สภาพเศรษฐกิจ และการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ดิจิทัล โดยเน้นว่าภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยจำเป็นต้องเร่งพัฒนากลยุทธ์เชิงรุก ควบคู่กับการยกระดับแรงงานจาก Unskilled สู่ High-Skilled Labor เพื่อเสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่งของระบบนิเวศอุตสาหกรรมไทย และผลักดันประเทศไทยให้กลับมาเป็นหนึ่งในฐานการผลิตสำคัญของภูมิภาค
ทั้งนี้ งาน Intelligent Asia Thailand และ Automation Thailand 2026 ถือเป็นเวทีสำคัญที่รวบรวมผู้ประกอบการ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมด้านระบบอัตโนมัติ หุ่นยนต์ อุตสาหกรรมอัจฉริยะ และโซลูชันการผลิตขั้นสูงจากทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ โดย ส.อ.ท. พร้อมเป็นแกนกลางในการสนับสนุนให้ผู้ประกอบการเข้าถึงเทคโนโลยีเหล่านี้ เพื่อลดต้นทุนและเพิ่มมูลค่าสูงสุดให้แก่ธุรกิจไทยในเวทีโลก
On March 11, 2026, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiananukool, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), assigned Mr. Parnon Thitavaro, Vice Chairman of FTI and Chairman of the Digital Institute for Industry, to preside over the opening ceremony of Intelligent Asia Thailand 2026. This opening ceremony marks a significant collaboration between government agencies and leading partners from both domestic and international sectors, including the Board of Investment (BOI), the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), the Thailand-Germany Institute (TGI), the National Productivity Institute (FTPI), along with representatives from the Thai Automation and Robotics Industries Association (TARA), the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand (TECO), and the organizing committee from Chan Chao International and Mesago Messe Frankfurt, at the BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangna, Bangkok.
Mr. Parnon stated that the Thai industrial sector is facing significant challenges due to geopolitical situations. According to the “The Global Risks Report 2026” by the World Economic Forum, geopolitical tensions and economic confrontation represent the most important risks this year. The use of tax measures and technology controls as tools has led to inefficiencies in global supply chains and higher production costs. Therefore, FTI is accelerating the implementation of the “First Industries to Next-Gen Industries” policy through the “4GO” framework, which includes Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, and Go Green, to transition to New S-Curve industries and enhance competitive capabilities using smart technologies. The focus is on upgrading automation systems, ESG preparedness, the application of digital and AI, market expansion through Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and developing skilled labor. The transition to smart automation is a crucial step in increasing productivity and enhancing the competitive capabilities of the Thai industrial sector.
Additionally, the event featured a special panel discussion titled “Thai Manufacturing Sector Proactive Strategy: Being the Leader of SEA,” where Dr. Somsith Moonsatharn, Chairman of the Defense Industry Group at FTI, contributed as a speaker to share insights on the proactive adaptation strategies of the Thai manufacturing sector to maintain competitiveness globally within the rapidly changing economic and technological context.
Dr. Somsith reflected on the challenges facing the Thai industrial sector, including competition in technology, trade wars, and changes in global economic structures, as well as domestic factors such as demographic structures, economic conditions, and the transition to digital. He emphasized that the Thai industrial sector must accelerate the development of proactive strategies alongside raising labor skills from unskilled to high-skilled labor to strengthen the Thai industrial ecosystem and drive Thailand to become one of the important manufacturing bases in the region.
Moreover, Intelligent Asia Thailand and Automation Thailand 2026 serve as a vital platform that gathers operators, technologies, and innovations in automation, robotics, smart industries, and advanced manufacturing solutions from both domestic and international sources. FTI is prepared to be a core support in enabling operators to access these technologies to reduce costs and maximize value for Thai businesses on the global stage.
