เมื่อวันที่ 21 เมษายน 2569 นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เป็นผู้แทนเข้าร่วมงาน Networking Reception เนื่องในโอกาสที่ H.E. Ms. Daniela Schmitt รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเศรษฐกิจ การขนส่ง และเกษตรกรรม แห่งรัฐ Rhineland-Palatinate พร้อมคณะผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจ เดินทางเยือนประเทศไทย โดยมี H.E. Dr. Ernst Reichel เอกอัครราชทูตเยอรมนีประจำประเทศไทย เป็นเจ้าภาพ ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตเยอรมนีประจำประเทศไทย
การจัดงานครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์และสร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจไทยและเยอรมนี ภายในงานมีการนำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับอุตสาหกรรมไวน์ ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในอุตสาหกรรมสำคัญของรัฐ Rhineland-Palatinate ด้วยสภาพภูมิประเทศและภูมิอากาศที่เอื้อต่อการเพาะปลูกองุ่นคุณภาพสูง โดยเฉพาะบริเวณลุ่มแม่น้ำไรน์และแม่น้ำโมเซล ส่งผลให้ไวน์จากรัฐดังกล่าวได้รับการยอมรับในระดับสากล ทั้งด้านคุณภาพและนวัตกรรมการผลิต โดยแหล่งผลิตไวน์ที่มีชื่อเสียง ได้แก่ เขต Mosel, Rheinhessen และ Pfalz
ทั้งนี้ รัฐ Rhineland-Palatinate นับเป็นหนึ่งในรัฐที่มีความสำคัญทางเศรษฐกิจของสหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนี โดยมีทำเลที่ตั้งเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ในยุโรปตะวันตก เชื่อมโยงกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน ได้แก่ ฝรั่งเศส ลักเซมเบิร์ก และเบลเยียม อีกทั้งยังตั้งอยู่ตามแนวแม่น้ำสายสำคัญของยุโรป ซึ่งเอื้อต่อการคมนาคมและการขนส่งสินค้าในภูมิภาค โครงสร้างเศรษฐกิจของรัฐพึ่งพาการส่งออกในสัดส่วนสูง และมีผู้ประกอบการขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (SMEs) เป็นฐานสำคัญของระบบเศรษฐกิจ โดยมีความโดดเด่นในอุตสาหกรรมไวน์ เคมีภัณฑ์ ยานยนต์ เครื่องจักรกล เทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ และอุตสาหกรรมสุขภาพ
ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้แทนจาก ส.อ.ท. ได้ใช้เวทีดังกล่าวในการสร้างเครือข่ายกับผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจจากเยอรมนี พร้อมทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับโอกาสและความท้าทายในการดำเนินธุรกิจในประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะในสาขาอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย อาทิ อุตสาหกรรมเซมิคอนดักเตอร์ เทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ และอุตสาหกรรมอาหารและเกษตรแปรรูป เป็นต้น
On April 21, 2026, Mr. Chatchai Panichsriwa, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), represented the organization at the Networking Reception held to welcome H.E. Ms. Daniela Schmitt, Minister of Economics, Transportation, and Agriculture of Rhineland-Palatinate, along with a business delegation visiting Thailand. The event was hosted by H.E. Dr. Ernst Reichel, the German Ambassador to Thailand, at the German Embassy in Thailand.
The purpose of this event was to promote relations and build networks between Thai and German business representatives. The event featured presentations on the wine industry, which is one of the key industries in Rhineland-Palatinate, benefiting from the region's landscape and climate conducive for cultivating high-quality grapes, particularly in the Rhine and Mosel river valleys, leading to internationally recognized wines in terms of quality and production innovation. Notable wine-producing areas include Mosel, Rheinhessen, and Pfalz.
Rhineland-Palatinate is considered one of the significant economic states in the Federal Republic of Germany, strategically located in Western Europe, connecting with neighboring countries, including France, Luxembourg, and Belgium. The state is situated along major European rivers, facilitating transportation and logistics in the region. The economy is heavily reliant on exports, with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) forming a crucial base of the economic system, distinguished in wine, chemicals, automotive, machinery, biotechnology, and health industries.
On this occasion, representatives from FTI utilized the platform to network with German business representatives, exchanging information on the opportunities and challenges of doing business in Thailand, particularly in target industries such as semiconductors, biotechnology, and food and agricultural processing.
