เมื่อวันที่ 24 เมษายน 2569 นายปรนนท์ ฐิตะวรรโณ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ร่วมรับเสด็จสมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินเป็นองค์ประธานในพิธีเปิดการประชุมวิชาการ สวทช. ประจำปี 2569 หรือ NAC 2026 โดยมีผู้เฝ้ารับเสด็จฯ ประกอบด้วย ศาสตราจารย์ยศชนัน วงศ์สวัสดิ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) นายทยุฎ วงษ์พิทักษ์โรจน์ ผู้พิพากษาหัวหน้าศาลจังหวัดธัญบุรี พลตรีสีฐิจักษ์ ร่มโพธิ์ชี ผู้บัญชาการมณฑลทหารบกที่ 11 พลตำรวจตรีพีรพล โชติกเสถียร ผู้บังคับการตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดปทุมธานี ศาสตราจารย์ศุภชัย ปทุมนากุล ปลัดกระทรวง อว. ศาสตราจารย์ชูกิจ ลิมปิจำนงค์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ ตลอดจนคณะผู้บริหารและพนักงานกระทรวง อว. และ สวทช. เข้าร่วมรับเสด็จ ณ อุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ประเทศไทย จังหวัดปทุมธานี
การประชุมวิชาการ สวทช. ประจำปี 2569 (NAC 2026) จัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “เศรษฐกิจยั่งยืนด้วยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี” (Sustainable Economy through Science and Technology) เพื่อเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ระดับประเทศ และจัดแสดงผลงานวิจัยที่ตอบโจทย์อุตสาหกรรมยุคใหม่ โดยเฉพาะการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) และการบรรลุเป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero) เพื่อเสริมศักยภาพการแข่งขันให้อุตสาหกรรมไทยในห่วงโซ่อุปทานสีเขียว
ภายในงานมีนิทรรศการนวัตกรรมเด่น อาทิ เชื้อเพลิง SAF พลังงานสะอาดแห่งอนาคตสำหรับการบิน การเพิ่มมูลค่าขยะด้วยทรายแมวจากวัสดุเหลือทิ้ง รวมถึงสัมมนาในประเด็นสำคัญระดับโลก เช่น ธุรกิจในเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน และการใช้ AI อัจฉริยะตรวจวัดไมโครพลาสติก
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีกิจกรรม Open House เปิดโอกาสให้ภาคธุรกิจเข้าชมห้องปฏิบัติการมาตรฐานโลกกว่า 14 เส้นทาง พร้อมกิจกรรมเวิร์กชอป DIY และภารกิจนวัตกรรมเกษตรยั่งยืนสำหรับเยาวชน โดยจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 24–28 เมษายน 2569 ณ อุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ประเทศไทย อำเภอคลองหลวง จังหวัดปทุมธานี
On April 24, 2026, Mr. Parnnath Thitaworan, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), welcomed Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who presided over the opening ceremony of the NSTDA Annual Conference 2026, or NAC 2026. Among those receiving Her Royal Highness were Professor Yotchanan Wong-sawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Mr. Tahiud Wongpitakrojan, Chief Judge of Thanyaburi Provincial Court, Major General Sithichak Rompho-chi, Commander of the 11th Army Area, Police Lieutenant General Peerapol Chotikasetthien, Commander of Pathum Thani Provincial Police, Professor Suphachai Phetumanakul, Permanent Secretary of MHESI, Professor Chukit Limpijumnong, Director of the National Science and Technology Development Agency, as well as executives and staff from MHESI and NSTDA, who attended the event at Thailand Science Park in Pathum Thani.
The NSTDA Annual Conference 2026 (NAC 2026) was held under the theme “Sustainable Economy through Science and Technology” to provide a national platform for knowledge exchange and showcase research that meets the needs of modern industries, particularly in driving the circular economy and achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions to enhance the competitiveness of Thai industries in the green supply chain.
The event featured notable innovation exhibitions, such as SAF fuel, a clean energy of the future for aviation, and value-adding waste with cat litter from discarded materials, along with seminars on important global topics such as businesses in the circular economy and the use of smart AI in measuring microplastics.
Additionally, an Open House event was organized, providing businesses with the opportunity to visit over 14 world-class laboratories, along with DIY workshop activities and sustainable agricultural innovation missions for youth, taking place from April 24–28, 2026, at Thailand Science Park in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani.
