เมื่อวันที่ 28 เมษายน 2569 สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) นำโดยนายจักรกฤช รังสิมานพ คณะทำงานส่งเสริมธุรกิจอาเซียนตอนใต้ ภายใต้คณะกรรมการส่งเสริมธุรกิจภูมิภาคอาเซียน สายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ ซึ่งได้รับมอบหมายจากนายกฤษฎา ประเสริฐสุโข ประธานคณะทำงานฯ พร้อมด้วย ดร. อรวิทย์ บุญชม รองผู้อำนวยการสถาบันฮาลาล ฝ่ายวิจัย นวัตกรรม และบริการวิชาการ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ และคณะทำงานสมุดปกขาวรายงานการศึกษาแนวทางการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสินค้าฮาลาลไทย เข้าพบนางสาวไปยดา หาญชัยสุขสกุล ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันอาหาร กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อเสนอแนวทางการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสินค้าฮาลาลไทยให้สามารถแข่งขันได้ในตลาดอาเซียนและระดับสากล ณ ห้องประชุม 1 สถาบันอาหาร
การหารือครั้งนี้ คณะทำงานได้นำเสนอภาพรวมและวัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการศึกษา โดยรวบรวมปัญหา อุปสรรค และข้อจำกัดด้านการขอรับรองมาตรฐานฮาลาล ตลอดจนวิเคราะห์โอกาสทางธุรกิจในตลาดใหม่ ๆ พร้อมเน้นย้ำความสำคัญของการสร้างระบบนิเวศ (Ecosystem) ที่เอื้อต่อผู้ประกอบการไทยในการเข้าถึงมาตรฐานฮาลาลสากล
นางสาวไปยดา พร้อมคณะ ให้การต้อนรับและแสดงความชื่นชมต่อความริเริ่มของ ส.อ.ท. โดยระบุว่า อุตสาหกรรมฮาลาลถือเป็นหนึ่งในกลไกสำคัญของอุตสาหกรรมอาหารไทย ทั้งนี้ สถาบันอาหารพร้อมสนับสนุนข้อมูลด้านแผนการดำเนินงาน โครงสร้างพื้นฐานเทคโนโลยีอาหารฮาลาล และมุมมองด้านงานวิจัยเชิงกลยุทธ์ เพื่อให้โครงการดังกล่าวมีความสมบูรณ์ และสามารถต่อยอดสู่การปฏิบัติได้จริงในระดับนโยบาย
ข้อมูลจากการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นครั้งนี้ ครอบคลุมทั้งมิติการผลิต การทดสอบมาตรฐานทางห้องปฏิบัติการ และแนวทางขยายตลาดสินค้าฮาลาลที่ไม่ใช่อาหาร (Non-food Halal Products) ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการกำหนดทิศทางพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมฮาลาลไทยในระยะต่อไป
On April 28, 2026, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), led by Mr. Chakkrit Rangsimanop, the working group promoting southern ASEAN business under the ASEAN Business Promotion Committee, assigned by Mr.kritsada Prasertsukho, Chairman of the working group, along with Dr. Orawit Bunchom, Deputy Director of the Halal Institute for Research, Innovation, and Academic Services, Prince of Songkla University, and the task force for the white paper report on the promotion and development of the Thai halal product industry, met with Ms. Paiyada Harnchaisuksakul, Director of the Food Institute, Ministry of Industry, to discuss and exchange proposals for promoting and developing the Thai halal product industry to compete in the ASEAN and international markets at Meeting Room 1, Food Institute.
During this discussion, the working group presented an overview and objectives of the study project by gathering issues, obstacles, and limitations regarding halal certification, as well as analyzing business opportunities in new markets, while emphasizing the importance of creating an ecosystem that facilitates Thai operators' access to international halal standards.
Ms. Paiyada and her team welcomed and appreciated the initiative of FTI, stating that the halal industry is one of the key mechanisms of the Thai food industry. The Food Institute is ready to support information on action plans, infrastructure for halal food technology, and strategic research insights to ensure that the project is comprehensive and can be implemented effectively at the policy level.
Information from this exchange of opinions covers aspects of production, laboratory standard testing, and strategies for expanding markets for non-food halal products, which will be beneficial in determining the direction for developing the Thai halal industry moving forward.
