On May 29, 2026, Dr. Naowarat Songsawaschai, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in the event "Declaration of Commitment by the Refinery Group on Governance for Transparency in Thailand's Energy Sector" alongside executives from petroleum refining companies at the main conference room, 2nd floor, head office building of PTT Public Company Limited.

The purpose of this event was to demonstrate a joint commitment to driving Thailand's energy system to be transparent, fair, and auditable, with executives from six petroleum refining companies participating in the declaration of commitment, including:

- PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited

- IRPC Public Company Limited

- Thai Oil Public Company Limited

- Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited

- Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited

- Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited

The declaration of commitment represents another significant step for the petroleum refining industry in adhering to governance principles, alongside social responsibility, to strengthen and secure the country's energy sector, fostering confidence across all sectors and supporting sustainable national development.
