ส.อ.ท. เดินหน้าผลักดันความร่วมมือด้านอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคตในกรอบความร่วมมือสามเหลี่ยมเศรษฐกิจอินโดนีเซีย–มาเลเซีย–ไทย (IMT-GT) โดยเสนอ 2 โครงการยุทธศาสตร์ Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) และ Smart Halal เข้าสู่แผนความร่วมมือระยะ 5 ปี (2027–2031) เพื่อสร้างมาตรฐานร่วม ยกระดับห่วงโซ่อุปทาน และเปิดโอกาสทางธุรกิจให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยเชื่อมโยงกับตลาดภูมิภาค
ระหว่างวันที่ 7–9 กันยายน 2569 นายอัครินทร์ วงศ์อภิรัตน์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคใต้ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมการประชุม IMT-GT Joint Business Council Meeting 2026 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้การประชุมรัฐมนตรีสามเหลี่ยมเศรษฐกิจอินโดนีเซีย–มาเลเซีย–ไทย ครั้งที่ 32 (32nd IMT-GT Ministerial Meeting and Related Meetings) เพื่อผลักดันความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรมระหว่างประเทศสมาชิกทั้ง 3 ประเทศ ได้แก่ อินโดนีเซีย มาเลเซีย และไทย ณ โรงแรม JW Marriott Medan เมืองเมดาน จังหวัดสุมาตราเหนือ ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย
ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทยได้นำเสนอ 2 โครงการยุทธศาสตร์สำคัญ เพื่อผลักดันบรรจุเป็นแผนงานความร่วมมือของ IMT-GT ระยะ 5 ปี (ค.ศ. 2027–2031) ได้แก่
1. โครงการ IMT-GT Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Ecosystem & Standards Harmonization Initiative เพื่อสร้างระบบนิเวศและจัดทำมาตรฐานน้ำมันอากาศยานยั่งยืนร่วมกันในภูมิภาค และ
2. โครงการ IMT-GT Integrated Smart Halal Supply Chain & Value Chain Enhancement Initiative เพื่อยกระดับห่วงโซ่อุปทานและห่วงโซ่มูลค่าฮาลาลอัจฉริยะแบบครบวงจร พร้อมเชื่อมโยงอุตสาหกรรมฮาลาลในพื้นที่ภาคใต้ของไทยกับมาเลเซียและอินโดนีเซีย
นอกจากนี้ ภายในงานยังมีพิธีส่งมอบตำแหน่งประธานสภาธุรกิจ IMT-GT (IMT-GT Joint Business Council Handover) โดยนายสุเมธ ตันธุวนิตย์ ผู้แทนจากประเทศไทย ได้ส่งมอบตำแหน่งให้แก่ Mr. Sjahrian K. R. Harahap, SE, MBA ผู้แทนจากประเทศอินโดนีเซีย เพื่อดำรงตำแหน่งประธานสภาธุรกิจฯ สำหรับวาระเดือนกันยายน 2569–กันยายน 2570 ในการขับเคลื่อนภารกิจความร่วมมือของภาคเอกชนทั้ง 3 ประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง
พร้อมกันนี้ ที่ประชุมยังได้ร่วมติดตามความก้าวหน้าโครงการความร่วมมือของประเทศสมาชิก อาทิ ประเทศไทยกับการจัดกิจกรรม Business Networking Session โครงการ IMT-GT Tourism Connect และการศึกษาเส้นทางเดินเรือนำร่องสตูล–สุมาตรา
ขณะที่ประเทศมาเลเซียได้นำเสนอแผนปฏิบัติการเมืองสีเขียวและเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนในรัฐเคดาห์ โครงการเชื่อมโยงสะพานและถนนข้ามพรมแดนสตูล–เปอร์ลิส และการพัฒนานิคมอุตสาหกรรมชายแดน (QSIIP)
ส่วนประเทศอินโดนีเซียได้รายงานความก้าวหน้าโครงการจัดการขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ การเตรียมจัดงาน IMT Trade Fair 2026 และโครงการนำร่องเศรษฐกิจสีน้ำเงิน (Blue Economy) บริเวณหมู่เกาะเมนตาไว
ควบคู่กับการประชุมระดับรัฐมนตรี มีการจัดกิจกรรม IMT-GT Business Matching 2026 และ IMT-GT Business Forum 2026 ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจจากผู้แทนภาครัฐ นักลงทุน และผู้ประกอบการกว่า 300 รายจากทั้ง 3 ประเทศ เข้าร่วมเจรจาการค้าในสาขาเกษตร อุตสาหกรรมแปรรูป ท่องเที่ยว และโลจิสติกส์ นำไปสู่การลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MoU) และสัญญาซื้อขายทางธุรกิจข้ามพรมแดน นับเป็นผลสำเร็จอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมในการสร้างโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจและยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมในพื้นที่ภาคใต้ของไทย
FTI is pushing forward cooperation in future industries within the framework of the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) by proposing two strategic projects: Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Smart Halal, to be included in the 5-year cooperation plan (2027–2031) aimed at establishing common standards, elevating supply chains, and providing business opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs to connect with regional markets.
From September 7 to 9, 2026, Mr. Akharin Wongapirat, Vice Chairman of the Southern Industry Council, FTI, participated in the IMT-GT Joint Business Council Meeting 2026, held under the 32nd IMT-GT Ministerial Meeting and Related Meetings, to promote economic and industrial cooperation among the three member countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand at the JW Marriott Medan Hotel in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia.
In this meeting, FTI presented two important strategic projects to be included in the IMT-GT 5-year cooperation plan (2027–2031), namely:
1. The IMT-GT Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Ecosystem & Standards Harmonization Initiative, aimed at creating a collaborative ecosystem and jointly developing sustainable aviation fuel standards in the region.
2. The IMT-GT Integrated Smart Halal Supply Chain & Value Chain Enhancement Initiative, designed to enhance the smart halal supply chain and value chain comprehensively while linking the halal industry in southern Thailand with Malaysia and Indonesia.
Additionally, the event also featured the handover ceremony of the IMT-GT Joint Business Council Chair position, where Mr. Sumeht Tanthuwanit, representative from Thailand, handed over the position to Mr. Sjahrian K. R. Harahap, SE, MBA, representative from Indonesia, to serve as the Chair for the term from September 2026 to September 2027, facilitating the ongoing collaboration of the private sectors in all three countries.
Furthermore, the meeting monitored the progress of cooperation projects among member countries, such as Thailand’s organization of the Business Networking Session for the IMT-GT Tourism Connect project and the study of pilot maritime routes from Satun to Sumatra.
Malaysian representatives presented plans for a green city and circular economy initiatives in Kedah, including cross-border bridge and road connectivity projects between Satun and Perlis, along with the development of industrial estates at the border (QSIIP).
Indonesia reported on the progress of electronic waste management projects, preparations for hosting the IMT Trade Fair 2026, and pilot projects related to the Blue Economy in the Mentawai Islands.
Alongside the ministerial meeting, IMT-GT Business Matching 2026 and IMT-GT Business Forum 2026 were held, attracting interest from over 300 representatives from government, investors, and entrepreneurs from all three countries to engage in trade negotiations in the fields of agriculture, processing industries, tourism, and logistics, leading to the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoU) and cross-border business contracts, marking a tangible success in creating economic opportunities and elevating industries in southern Thailand.
