เมื่อวันที่ 6 สิงหาคม 2569 เวลา 18.30 น. นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย ดร.กริช อึ้งวิฑูรสถิตย์ ประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-เมียนมา ได้รับคำเชิญจากนายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทย เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองอาหารค่ำเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ พลเอกอาวุโส มิน ออง ไลง์ ประธานาธิบดีแห่งสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา ในโอกาสเยือนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ ณ ตึกสันติไมตรีหลังนอก ทำเนียบรัฐบาล
การเข้าร่วมครั้งนี้ ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นหมุดหมายสำคัญในการตอกย้ำความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นและใกล้ชิดในระดับทวิภาคีระหว่างไทยและเมียนมาเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นโอกาสอันดียิ่งในการยกระดับความร่วมมือรอบด้านอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม โดยเฉพาะการยกระดับสภาพแวดล้อมทางธุรกิจและการค้าการลงทุนให้เอื้อต่อกัน เพื่อสร้างความพร้อมในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจของทั้งสองประเทศให้เติบโตร่วมกัน นำไปสู่การเปิดมิติใหม่แห่งการเป็นหุ้นส่วนยุทธศาสตร์ทางเศรษฐกิจที่มั่นคง ยั่งยืน
สำหรับมิติการค้าระหว่างไทยและเมียนมา ในปี 2568 มูลค่าการค้ารวมระหว่างไทยและเมียนมาอยู่ที่กว่า 2.42 แสนล้านบาท แบ่งเป็นมูลค่าการส่งออกจากไทยไปเมียนมากว่า 1.45 แสนล้านบาท และมูลค่าการนำเข้าจากเมียนมากว่า 9.72 หมื่นล้านบาท พร้อมตั้งเป้ามูลค่าการค้ารวมสู่ 4 แสนล้านบาทในปี 2569 ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการขยายความร่วมมือด้านการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างสองประเทศในอนาคตต่อไป
On August 6, 2026, at 6:30 PM, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairwoman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Dr. Krit Uengwitoonrat, Chair of the Thai-Myanmar Business Council, received an invitation from Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to attend a dinner reception honoring Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, during his official visit to Thailand at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House.
This participation is not only a significant milestone in reinforcing the close and strong bilateral relations between Thailand and Myanmar, but also an excellent opportunity to elevate cooperation in a comprehensive and tangible manner. In particular, it aims to enhance the business environment and investment opportunities to support the economic advancement of both countries, paving the way for a new dimension of stable and sustainable economic partnership.
Regarding trade dynamics between Thailand and Myanmar, in 2025, the total trade value between Thailand and Myanmar amounted to over 242 billion baht, consisting of exports from Thailand to Myanmar of over 145 billion baht and imports from Myanmar of over 97.2 billion baht. The target for total trade value is set at 400 billion baht in 2026, reflecting the commitment to expand trade and investment cooperation between the two countries in the future.
