เมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม 2569 นายปณิธาน ปวโรฬารวิทยา เลขาธิการสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย ดร. กริช อึ้งวิฑูรสถิตย์ ประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-เมียนมา และ ดร. กฤษฎา ประเสริฐสุโข รองประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-เมียนมา เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำในโอกาสสหพันธ์สภาหอการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา (Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry : UMFCCI) แสดงความขอบคุณฝ่ายไทยในการจัดงานสัมมนาส่งเสริมการค้าการลงทุนไทย-เมียนมา (Thailand-Myanmar Business Forum 2026) บรรลุผลสำเร็จลุล่วงไปได้ด้วยดี ณ โรงแรม Ritz-Carlton ลุมพินี กรุงเทพฯ
ภายในงาน ได้รับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น โดย U Aye Win ประธาน UMFCCI ได้กล่าวแสดงความขอบคุณสมาคมไทย - พม่า เพื่อมิตรภาพ ตลอดจนภาครัฐและเอกชนไทยที่เกี่ยวข้อง อาทิ คณะกรรมการร่วมภาคเอกชน 3 สถาบัน (กกร.) ที่ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานได้อย่างสมบูรณ์ ทั้งยังเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของงานสัมมนาในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งถือเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการฟื้นฟูความเชื่อมั่น ยกระดับความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้า และเปิดโอกาสให้ภาคเอกชนของทั้งสองประเทศได้เจรจาจับคู่ธุรกิจ (Business Matching) เพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจที่เข้มแข็งร่วมกันต่อไป
นอกจากนี้ ภาคเอกชนไทยและเมียนมายังได้หารือร่วมกันถึงแนวทางการต่อยอดความร่วมมือในระยะยาว โดยมุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย การอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการขนส่งและการค้าชายแดน รวมถึงการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลข่าวสารทางเศรษฐกิจเพื่อลดอุปสรรคในการทำธุรกิจ
ทั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. และสภาธุรกิจไทย-เมียนมา ยืนยันความพร้อมที่จะเดินหน้าผลักดันกิจกรรมทางเศรษฐกิจร่วมกับ UMFCCI อย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจของทั้งสองประเทศให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน
On August 7, 2026, Mr. Panithan Pavarolachariyakit, Secretary-General of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with Dr. Krit Uengwitoonrat, President of the Thailand-Myanmar Business Council, and Dr. Kritsada Prasertsukh, Vice President of the Thailand-Myanmar Business Council, attended a dinner event hosted by the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) to express appreciation to the Thai side for successfully organizing the Thailand-Myanmar Business Forum 2026 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Lumpini, Bangkok.
At the event, a warm welcome was provided, with U Aye Win, President of UMFCCI, expressing gratitude to the Thailand-Myanmar Association for Friendship, as well as the relevant Thai government and private sectors, including the Joint Private Sector Committee of the three institutions (JCCC), which co-hosted the event successfully. He also emphasized the importance of this seminar, which serves as a vital platform for restoring confidence, enhancing trade relations, and providing opportunities for the private sectors of both countries to engage in business matching to foster strong economic collaboration.
Additionally, Thai and Myanmar private sectors discussed ways to enhance long-term cooperation, focusing on promoting investment in targeted industries, facilitating transportation and cross-border trade, and exchanging economic information to reduce business barriers.
Furthermore, the FTI and the Thailand-Myanmar Business Council confirmed their readiness to continuously promote economic activities with UMFCCI to drive sustainable economic growth for both countries.
