เมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม 2569 นายกริช อึ้งวิฑูรสถิตย์ รองประธานสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ และนายธนวัฒน์ จิตบรรเทิงพันธ์ กรรมการและผู้ช่วยเลขานุการสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมการประชุมเตรียมการสำหรับการประชุมคณะกรรมาธิการร่วม (Joint Commission: JC) ว่าด้วยความร่วมมือทวิภาคีไทย–ลาว ครั้งที่ 23 ณ ห้องประชุม 3 กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ
ในการประชุมเตรียมการฯ หน่วยงานทั้งภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนที่เกี่ยวข้องได้เสนอประเด็นเพื่อผลักดันร่วมกับ สปป. ลาว ประกอบด้วย
1. ความร่วมมือด้านพลังงาน เช่น การซื้อขายไฟฟ้า
2. การเงินและการธนาคาร เช่น ความร่วมมือในการใช้เงินสกุลท้องถิ่นในการชำระค่าสินค้า รวมถึงการป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรมทางการเงิน
3. โครงสร้างพื้นฐานและโลจิสติกส์ (Connectivity) อาทิ เส้นทางรถไฟไทย–ลาว
4. การค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างไทย–ลาว เช่น มาตรการนำเข้า–ส่งออกรถยนต์ไฟฟ้า (EV)
5. เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลและการสนับสนุน SMEs
6. ความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนาแรงงานทักษะระหว่างสองประเทศ
ทั้งนี้ ข้อมูลและประเด็นผลักดันที่ได้จากการประชุมเตรียมการฯ ครั้งนี้ จะนำไปหารือและผลักดันร่วมกับ สปป. ลาว ในการประชุมคณะกรรมาธิการร่วมว่าด้วยความร่วมมือทวิภาคีไทย–ลาว ครั้งที่ 23 ซึ่งมีกำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 1–2 ตุลาคม 2569 ณ นครหลวงพระบาง สปป. ลาว ต่อไป
On August 7, 2026, Mr. Krit Eungwitoonstit, Vice President of the ASEAN and Logistics Division, and Mr. Thanawat Jitbunthaeungpan, Board Member and Assistant Secretary of the ASEAN and Logistics Division of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended the preparatory meeting for the Joint Commission (JC) on Thailand-Laos Bilateral Cooperation, the 23rd session, held at Meeting Room 3, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the preparatory meeting, relevant government and private sector agencies proposed issues to push forward with Laos, including:
1. Cooperation in energy, such as electricity trading.
2. Finance and banking, such as cooperation in using local currencies for payment and measures against financial crimes.
3. Infrastructure and logistics (Connectivity), such as the Thailand-Laos railway.
4. Trade and investment between Thailand and Laos, such as measures for importing and exporting electric vehicles (EV).
5. Digital economy and support for SMEs.
6. Cooperation in skill labor development between the two countries.
Moreover, the information and proposed issues obtained from this preparatory meeting will be discussed and pushed forward with Laos in the 23rd Joint Commission on Thailand-Laos Bilateral Cooperation, scheduled to be held on October 1-2, 2026, in Luang Prabang, Laos.
