รองนายกฯ ร่วมประชุมบูรณาการร่วมภาครัฐ เอกชน พัฒนากลุ่มจังหวัดภาคใต้ฝั่งอันดามันDeputy Prime Minister Attends Integrated Meeting with Public and Private Sectors to Develop Southern Andaman Provinces

On January 22, 2024, Mr. Adisorn Tanengchan, Chairman of the Southern Industrial Council, together with Ms. Cheunporn Kanjanasaya, Chairwoman of the Andaman Province Industrial Council, and the committee members of the Andaman Province Industrial Alliance attended an integrated meeting with the public and private sectors to develop the Southern Andaman provinces (Ranong, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, Phang Nga, and Satun). The meeting was chaired by Mr. Panpree Pihattanukorn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, with representatives from government and private organizations participating at the Rattanarangsarn Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Provincial Hall, Ranong.

Mr. Panpree stated that the Southern Andaman provinces (Ranong, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, Phang Nga, and Satun) possess high potential for developing tourism to international standards, along with strengths in agriculture, fisheries, and livestock that meet standards. Furthermore, the development of transportation networks to connect provinces and nearby areas will create economic value and enhance the quality of life for local residents.

On this occasion, Mr. Panpree listened to project proposals from provincial governors and representatives from the private sector and approved 13 project proposals from provinces and groups that are ready, as well as an additional 7 private sector development projects. These will be presented to the Cabinet for consideration at the Cabinet meeting on January 23, 2024.
