เมื่อวันที่ 17 เมษายน 2567 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงานแถลงข่าวการเปิดงาน Green Technology Expo 2024 ของสมาคมวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีไทย-จีน โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ศ.เกียรติคุณ นายแพทย์เกษม วัฒนชัย องคมนตรีและประธานสมาคมวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีไทย-จีน พร้อมด้วย ศ.ดร.พิชัย สนแจ้ง เลขาธิการสมาคมวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีไทย-จีน และผู้บริหารจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน เข้าร่วม ณ สำนักงานนวัตกรรมและความร่วมมือสถาบันบัณฑิต วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งประเทศจีน (CAS)
สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ในฐานะผู้ร่วมจัดงาน ได้สนับสนุนการดำเนินการจัดงานในครัังนี้ รวมถึงส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนความร่วมมือทางด้านนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีในภาคอุตสาหกรรมระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศจีน
ปัจจุบัน ส.อ.ท. มีการจัดตั้งสถาบันการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศขึ้นและได้ร่วมพัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มการซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนคาร์บอนเครดิต (FTIX) และส่งเสริมผูัประกอบการ SMEs และสตาร์ทอัพในการเข้าถึงตลาดนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีผ่านการสนับสนุนภายใต้โครงการ “กองทุนอินโนเวชั่นวัน” เพื่อให้สามารถเติบโตและแข่งขันได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน
On April 17, 2024, Mr. Arun Iamsuri, Chairman of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute at the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in the press conference for the Green Technology Expo 2024 organized by the Thai-Chinese Science and Technology Association. He was honored to have Professor Emeritus Dr. Kasem Watanachai, Privy Councillor and President of the Thai-Chinese Science and Technology Association, along with Professor Dr. Pichai Sornjaeng, Secretary-General of the Thai-Chinese Science and Technology Association, and executives from both public and private sectors in attendance at the Office of Innovation and Cooperation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), as a co-organizer of the event, has supported the organization of the event this time, as well as promoted cooperation in innovation and technology exchanges in the industrial sector between Thailand and China.
Currently, FTI has established a Climate Change Institute and has collaborated to develop a Carbon Credit Trading Platform (FTIX), as well as support SMEs and startups in accessing innovation and technology markets through the support of the “Innovation Fund Day” project to enable them to grow and compete effectively and sustainably.
