วันศุกร์ที่ 2 สิงหาคม 2567 นายทวี ปิยะพัฒนา รองประธานอาวุโสสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสายงานส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัด ร่วมเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน “โคราชเมืองเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน ประจำปี 2567” (Korat Carbon Neutrality Expo 2024) จัดโดยสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดนครราชสีมาร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี และสำนักงานเกษตรจังหวัดนครราชสีมา ภายใต้การสนับสนุนจากสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ TCEB งานนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อกระตุ้นการรับรู้และตระหนักถึงความสำคัญต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและธุรกิจสีเขียว มุ่งสู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนอย่างยั่งยืนให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการ ภาครัฐ ภาคประชาชนในระดับภูมิภาคและพื้นที่จังหวัด โดยมี นางสาวประไพพักตร์ พุทธิโยธิน ผู้จัดการสำนักส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ (สสปน.) กล่าวสนับสนุนและแสดงความยินดีในการจัดการประชุม และนางธิดารัตน์ รอดอนันต์ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดนครราชสีมา กล่าวรายงานการจัดประชุม
ภายในงาน มีการจัดเสวนาให้ความรู้ การออกบูธแสดงสินค้าและนิทรรศการของหน่วยงานต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง การจำหน่ายสินค้า ผลผลิตทางการเกษตรที่ยกระดับกระบวนการผลิตสู่ BCG Economy เพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และมีผู้ให้บริการด้านคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ (Carbon Footprint) และนักลงทุนด้านคาร์บอนเครดิตมาร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล รวมถึงกิจกรรมอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย โดยงานจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 2 -3 สิงหาคม 2567 นี้ ณ ศูนย์การค้า Terminal 21 โคราช ชั้น 4 (Terminal Hall)
สำหรับภาคอุตสาหกรรมนั้น ทาง ส.อ.ท. เอง มีนโยบายในการขับเคลื่อน BCG สู่เป้าหมาย SDGs เปลี่ยนความกดดันทางสิ่งแวดล้อม “เป็นโอกาสทางธุรกิจ” โดยให้ความสำคัญกับอุตสาหกรรมที่ตอบโจทย์ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม อาทิ
• สร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มสู่อุตสาหกรรมเศรษฐกิจชีวภาพ (Bio Economy) อาทิ การส่งเสริมในอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานชีวภาพ (เอทานอล, ไฟฟ้าชีวมวล) วัสดุชีวภาพ (เม็ดพลาสติกชีวภาพ) ส่วนผสมในอาหารเชิงฟังก์ชั่น (สารปรุงรส, อาหารสัตว์) เครื่องสำอางและยาชีวภัณฑ์
• เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) ส.อ.ท. กำลังผลักดันโครงการ Upcycling Plastic Waste โดยการนำขยะมาแปรรูป เพิ่มมูลค่าให้กลายเป็นสิ่งใหม่ด้วยนวัตกรรม
• เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (Green Economy) ผลักดันภาคอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตสู่ความยั่งยืน พร้อมผลักดันผู้ประกอบการในการขอการรับรอง Eco Product เพื่อรองรับการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างสินค้าและบริการที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อมของภาครัฐและเอกชน และส่งเสริมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมเชิงนิเวศ (Eco Factory)
สำหรับการจัดงาน “โคราชเมืองเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน ประจำปี 2567” ในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นครั้งที่ 2 และถือเป็นกิจกรรมที่ช่วยขับเคลื่อนและผลักดันให้จังหวัดนครราชสีมาเป็นจังหวัดที่มีคาร์บอนสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero Emission) ตามนโยบายประเทศและของสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ซึ่งการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม เป็นหน้าที่ของทุกคนที่จะต้องช่วยกัน และร่วมกันตระหนัก เห็นความสำคัญ รวมทั้งลงมือแก้ไขกันอย่างจริงจัง
On Friday, August 2, 2024, Mr. Thavee Piyapattana, Senior Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and Chairman of the Provincial Industrial Promotion and Support Board, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Korat Carbon Neutrality Expo 2024.” This event was organized by the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Industrial Council in collaboration with Suranaree University of Technology and the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Agricultural Office, supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of the environment and green business, promoting a sustainable path towards carbon neutrality for entrepreneurs, government agencies, and the community at the regional and provincial levels. Ms. Praipak Phutthiyotin, Manager of the Northeast Convention and Exhibition Promotion Office (TCEB), expressed support and congratulations for organizing the conference, while Ms. Thidarath Rodanand, President of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Industrial Council, reported on the conference's organization.
The event featured knowledge-sharing discussions, booths showcasing products and exhibitions from various relevant agencies, sales of agricultural products that enhance production processes towards the BCG Economy for sustainable development, and participation from carbon footprint service providers and carbon credit investors for information exchange, along with many other activities. The event is held from August 2 to 3, 2024, at Terminal 21 Korat, 4th floor (Terminal Hall).
In the industrial sector, the FTI has a policy to drive the BCG towards the SDGs goal, transforming environmental pressures into “business opportunities.” It emphasizes industries that align with environmental objectives, including:
• Adding value to the bioeconomy sector (Bio Economy), such as promoting the bioenergy industry (ethanol, biomass power), bioplastics (bioplastic pellets), functional food ingredients (seasonings, animal feed), cosmetics, and biopharmaceuticals.
• Circular Economy: The FTI is promoting the Upcycling Plastic Waste project by recycling waste to create new value through innovation.
• Green Economy: Promoting sustainable industrial production while encouraging entrepreneurs to seek Eco Product certification to facilitate the procurement of environmentally friendly goods and services from both public and private sectors while promoting Eco Factory industrial practices.
The organization of the “Korat Carbon Neutrality Expo 2024” marks the second time and serves as an activity that helps drive and promote Nakhon Ratchasima Province towards a net zero carbon emission status, in line with the national policy and that of the Federation of Thai Industries. The prevention and resolution of environmental issues are responsibilities that everyone must collaborate on and recognize the importance of, committing to serious action.
