เมื่อวันที่ 26 เมษายน 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้รับเกียรติเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายให้ความรู้กับผู้เข้ารับการศึกษาในหลักสูตรการบริหารเชิงนิติศาสตร์ระดับสูง (วทน.) รุ่นที่ 3 สภาทนายความในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ ในหัวข้อ “การพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจไทยให้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมาย SDG ของ UN และแผนยุทธศาสตร์ชาติ” ณ ห้องประชุมชั้น 4 สภาทนายความในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์
การบรรยายดังกล่าว นายเกรียงไกรได้มีการนำเสนอประเด็นด้านความท้าทายของเศรษฐกิจโลก ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่ออุตสาหกรรม ประกอบด้วย 1. Technology Disruption หรือเทคโนโลยีหรือนวัตกรรมรูปแบบใหม่ๆ ที่เข้ามาเปลี่ยนแปลงการดำเนินธุรกิจ ซึ่งต่อจากนี้จะต้องให้ความสำคัญกับนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยี โดยนำเอาระบบ AI และ Robot เข้ามามีบทบาทมากขึ้น 2. สงครามการค้าสู่สงครามด้านเทคโนโลยี (Technology War) 3. สถานการณ์โควิด-19 ซึ่งส่งผลให้อุตสาหกรรมต้องปรับแผนรูปแบบทางธุรกิจ 4. Geopolitics หรือปัญหาภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ ที่จำเป็นต้องมีการหาตลาดใหม่ เพื่อทดแทนตลาดที่เป็นคู่ขัดแย้ง 5. ภาวะโลกร้อน (Global Warming) สู่ภาวะโลกเดือด (Global Boiling) ที่นำไปสู่การปรับตัวตาม มาตรการที่มิใช่ภาษี (Non-Tariff Measures: NTMs) รวมถึงการเกิดธุรกิจใหม่ๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อม
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้มีข้อเสนอเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมไทยผ่านนโยบาย ส.อ.ท. ที่เตรียมเร่งยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมเดิมและพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมใหม่ เพื่อมุ่งสู่เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนหรือ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) การเสริมความเข้มแข็งของเศรษฐกิจไทยด้วยอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อการเกษตรผ่าน S-Curve การจัดทำโครงการต้นแบบเพื่อการเรียนรู้และบ่มเพาะแนวทางเกษตรกรรมรูปแบบใหม่ (Smart Agriculture Industry : SAI) ด้วยเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม สร้างมูลค่าวัสดุทางการเกษตร ผ่านการปลูก แปรรูป สกัด และหมุนเวียนกลับมาใช้ใหม่ การเตรียมความพร้อมให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรมรับมือกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (Climate change) ตลอดจนการเปิดแพลตฟอร์มซื้อขายคาร์บอนเครดิต (FTIX) แห่งแรกในเอเปค
On April 26, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), was honored to be a speaker providing knowledge to participants in the Advanced Legal Management Course (VTH) Class 3 of the Lawyers Council under the Royal Patronage, on the topic "Developing the Thai Economy in Alignment with the UN's SDG Goals and National Strategic Plans" at the 4th-floor conference room of the Lawyers Council under the Royal Patronage.
During the lecture, Mr. Kriangkrai presented the challenges facing the global economy that impact the industry, including 1. Technology Disruption, or new technologies and innovations that are transforming business operations, necessitating a greater focus on innovation and technology, including the increasing role of AI and robots; 2. The trade war escalating into a technology war; 3. The COVID-19 situation, which has forced the industry to revise business models; 4. Geopolitics, necessitating the search for new markets to replace those in conflict; 5. Global warming leading to global boiling, resulting in adaptations to Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs) and the emergence of new businesses related to environmental management.
Additionally, proposals were made concerning the pathways for the development of Thai industry through FTI policies that aim to rapidly upgrade existing industries and develop new ones to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), strengthening the Thai economy through agricultural industries via the S-Curve, creating prototype projects for learning and incubating new agricultural methods (Smart Agriculture Industry: SAI) through technology and innovation, creating value from agricultural materials through planting, processing, extracting, and recycling, and preparing the industrial sector to face climate change as well as establishing the first carbon credit trading platform (FTIX) in APEC.
