วันศุกร์ที่ 21 มิถุนายน 2567 ดร.ชนะ ภูมี รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความยั่งยืน เข้าร่วมงาน SDG Localization: Thailand’s Journey Towards Sustainability เส้นทางไทยสู่ความยั่งยืนกับผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดทั่วประเทศและทุกภาคส่วน โดยมี ฯพณฯ เดวิด เดลี เอกอัครราชทูตสหภาพยุโรปประจำประเทศไทย นายสุทธิพงษ์ จุลเจริญ ปลัดกระทรวงมหาดไทย และนายเรอโน เมแยร์ ผู้แทนโครงการพัฒนาแห่งสหประชาชาติ ประจำประเทศไทย ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน ณ ศูนย์ประชุมสหประชาชาติ กรุงเทพมหานคร
สำหรับการจัดงานในปีนี้ ทาง United Nations Development Programme Thailand (UNDP) กระทรวงมหาดไทย และสหภาพยุโรป เปิดตัวรายงาน SDG Profile หรือรายงานความก้าวหน้าของเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนระดับจังหวัดเป็นครั้งแรกของประเทศไทยกับ 15 จังหวัดนำร่อง คือ กรุงเทพมหานคร เชียงราย เชียงใหม่ ตาก นครราชสีมา นราธิวาส ปัตตานี เพชรบุรี ภูเก็ต แม่ฮ่องสอน ยะลา สงขลา สุราษฎร์ธานี อุดรธานี และอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งภายในงานมีกิจกรรมอื่นๆ ที่น่าสนใจมากมาย อาทิเช่น
– การแสดงวิสัยทัศน์ 4 หัวข้อ การท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน การจัดการภัยพิบัติ การบริหารทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ และการพัฒนาของจังหวัดชายแดน
– ปาฐกถาเรื่อง “การนำ SDG ไปปฏิบัติในเชิงพื้นที่ : ประสบการณ์จากกระทรวงมหาดไทย”
– เส้นทางการขับเคลื่อนสู่เป้าหมาย SDGs กับ 5 วงการ สภาพัฒน์ฯ กรุงเทพมหาคร สมาคมสันนิบาตแห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมหอการค้าไทย และรองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎร
– การเสวนาหัวข้อ “พัฒนาข้อมูลเพื่อปลดล็อกและขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน” โดยงานนี้แสดงให้เห็นถึงหนึ่งในก้าวสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อน SDG ในระดับพื้นที่ และสนับสนุนการขับเคลื่อน SDG ประเทศไทยในทุกๆ มิติต่อไป
On Friday, June 21, 2024, Dr. Chana Phoommee, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Chairman of the Institute for Water and Environment for Sustainability, participated in the SDG Localization: Thailand’s Journey Towards Sustainability event, alongside governors from provinces across the country and all sectors. The event was honored by the presence of H.E. David Daly, Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand, Mr. Sutthipong Juljaroen, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Mr. Reho Mayer, UNDP Representative in Thailand, who graciously presided over the opening ceremony at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok.
This year, the event organized by the United Nations Development Programme Thailand (UNDP), the Ministry of Interior, and the European Union launched the SDG Profile report, which showcases the progress of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the provincial level for the first time in Thailand, covering 15 pilot provinces: Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Tak, Nakhon Ratchasima, Narathiwat, Pattani, Phetchaburi, Phuket, Mae Hong Son, Yala, Songkhla, Surat Thani, Udon Thani, and Ubon Ratchathani. The event featured many other interesting activities, including:
– Presentations on 4 topics: sustainable tourism, disaster management, natural resource management, and development in border provinces.
– A keynote speech titled “Implementing SDGs in a Local Context: Experiences from the Ministry of Interior.”
– Pathways to drive the SDGs with 5 industries: the National Economic and Social Development Board, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Association of Provinces of Thailand, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
– A panel discussion on “Developing Data to Unlock and Drive Sustainable Development.” This event highlighted a significant step in advancing the SDGs at the local level and supporting the ongoing drive for SDGs in all aspects throughout Thailand.
