เมื่อวันที่ 2 กรกฎาคม 2567 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย – จีน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมการสถาบันฯ และผู้แทนจากกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมชิ้นส่วนและอะไหล่ยานยนต์ ให้การต้อนรับและหารือกับนาย Sun Weiyong, Vice President of China International Exhibition Center Group Limited และคณะ เพื่อวางแผนการจัดงาน New Energy Vehicles and Accessories Expo ที่กรุงเทพฯ ณ ห้องประชุม PFP Healthy, Tasty (1013) ชั้น 10 ส.อ.ท.
ในที่ประชุม ได้มีการหารือเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ทางการค้าในด้านอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ ระหว่างประเทศไทยและจีน โดยเฉพาะอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า (EV) ในประเทศไทยและอุตสาหกรรมห่วงโซ่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เช่น สินค้าแบตเตอรี่ อะไหล่และชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์ เป็นต้น รวมถึงหารือถึงแนวทางการจัดงาน New Energy Vehicles and Accessories Expo เพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมร่วมกัน โดยผู้ประกอบการฝั่งไทยเน้นย้ำว่าไทยมีความพร้อมที่จะเข้าสู่การเป็นห่วงโซ่ของอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ของจีน เนื่องจากไทยมีศักยภาพและมีความพร้อมทั้งด้านแรงงาน และการผลิตในอุตสาหกรรมดังกล่าว และการสร้างความร่วมมือด้วยกันระหว่างผู้ประกอบการ เช่น การทำ Business Matching ระหว่างผู้ประกอบการจีนและไทย โดยทางผู้จัดงานได้หารือเพิ่มเติมในการเข้ามาสนับสนุนการจัดงานจาก ส.อ.ท. ในปีหน้า
นอกจากนี้ คณะผู้แทนจากจีนได้เชิญชวนผู้แทนและสมาชิก ส.อ.ท เข้าร่วมงาน China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) ครั้งที่ 2 ที่กำหนดจัดขึ้นในช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2567 ที่กรุงปักกิ่ง ประเทศจีน ซึ่งเป็นแสดงสินค้าที่โชว์ศักยภาพและความพร้อมของอุตสาหกรรมจีน ตั้งแต่อุตสาหกรรมต้นน้ำถึงปลายน้ำ และในปีที่ผ่านมา ได้รับความสนใจจากผู้ประกอบการต่างชาติเป็นจำนวนมาก
On July 2, 2024, Mr. Arun Eamsuree, Chairman of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with the institute's committee members and representatives from the automotive industry and automotive parts and accessories sector, welcomed and discussed with Mr. Sun Weiyong, Vice President of China International Exhibition Center Group Limited, and his team to plan the New Energy Vehicles and Accessories Expo to be held in Bangkok at the PFP Healthy, Tasty (1013) meeting room, 10th floor of FTI.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the trade situation in various industries between Thailand and China, particularly the electric vehicle (EV) industry in Thailand and the related supply chain, such as battery products, automotive parts, and accessories. The discussion also included ways to organize the New Energy Vehicles and Accessories Expo to enhance trade and industrial cooperation. Thai operators emphasized that Thailand is ready to integrate into the supply chain of the Chinese automotive industry, as Thailand possesses the potential and readiness in labor and production within the industry. Collaborative initiatives between operators were discussed, such as Business Matching between Chinese and Thai businesses. The event organizers also discussed further support from FTI for the event next year.
Additionally, the Chinese delegation invited representatives and members of FTI to participate in the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), scheduled to be held in November 2024 in Beijing, China. This exhibition showcases the capabilities and readiness of the Chinese industry, from upstream to downstream sectors, and received significant interest from foreign operators last year.
