เมื่อวันที่ 13 กรกฏาคม 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้รับเกียรติเข้าร่วมปาฐกถาในหัวข้อความท้าทายของภาคอุตสาหกรรมจากบทบาทของ AI ซึ่งจัดโดยสมาคมนิสิตเก่าวิศวกรรมศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ณ โรงแรมเซ็นทาราแกรนด์ บางกอก คอนเวนชัน เซ็นเตอร์ แอท เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์
ภายในงาน ได้รับเกียรติจาก 9 องค์ปาฐกถาซึ่งเป็นผู้บริหารระดับสูงทั้งภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน โดยนายเผ่าภูมิ โรจนสกุล รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง ได้ให้ข้อมูลเรื่องปัญญาประดิษฐ์กับความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจและการเงินการคลัง ศ.ดร.วันชัย ยอดสุดใจ คณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ได้เล่าถึงความก้าวหน้าของวิศวกรรม การสร้างอนาคตด้วยปัญญาประดิษฐ์ และความสำเร็จของโครงงานต่างๆ ที่คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ได้ดำเนินมาทั้งในปัจจุบันและแผนต่อไปในอนาคต
ในส่วนภาคราชการ ว่าที่ ร.ต.ประยุทธ เสตถาภิรมย์ รองอธิบดีกรมสรรพสามิต ได้บรรยายถึงเรื่องราวของ AI ที่จะมาสนับสนุนงานภาครัฐได้อย่างไร เพื่อเดินหน้าประเทศไทยสู่ความยั่งยืน
ด้านภาคเอกชน นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้ให้ข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์ในเรื่องความท้าทายของภาคอุตสาหกรรมจากบทบาทของ AI ที่นับวันจะมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงมากขึ้นทั้งปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ความขัดแย้งทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ ผลกระทบต่อเนื่องจากการระบาดของโควิด-19 ที่เร่งการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่การปรับใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล และปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางภูมิอากาศ รวมถึงปัจจุบันบทบาทของเทคโนโลยี AI ที่เข้ามาเร่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางธุรกิจที่เป็นทั้งโอกาส ช่วยเพิ่มความแม่นยำในกระบวนการผลิตและลดความผิดพลาด และความเสี่ยงที่อาจกระทบต่อบางอาชีพที่ถูกแทนที่หรือหายไป ซึ่งประเทศไทยกำลังพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและนโยบายด้าน AI เพื่อรองรับความพร้อมในการประยุกต์ใช้ AI
ทั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. ยังได้ขับเคลื่อนแนวทาง 4 Go ที่จะยกระดับ SMEs สู่ Smart SMEs ได้แก่ Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global และ Go Green เพื่อยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้สามารถแข่งขันได้ในตลาดโลก
ในส่วนของภาคการเงิน นายศักดิ์ชัย พีชะพัฒน์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท ทิสโก้ไฟแนนซ์เชียลกรุ๊ป จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้เสริมในเรื่องศักยภาพและการสานประโยชน์ต่างๆ ในด้าน AI Finance with a Face: Building Trust and Connection in the Age of AI
สำหรับภาคพลังงานที่เป็นเส้นเลือดใหญ่ของประเทศโดย ดร.รสยา เธียรวรรณ Executive Vice President Technology Development for Future Energy New Business and Infrastructure PTT Publice Company Limited ได้ให้แง่มุมต่างๆ ของการประยุกต์ใช้ AI กับธุรกิจด้านพลังงาน
ด้านผู้ประกอบการและเป็นผู้มีประสบการณ์ในภาคธุรกิจ Startup ที่ประสบผลสำเร็จมาอย่างยาวนาน นายณัฐวุฒิ พึงเจริญพงศ์ ผู้ก่อตั้งและประธานกรรมการบริหาร บริษัท อุ๊คบี (Ookbee) จำกัด มาแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ด้าน AI กับโอกาสทางธุรกิจ สำหรับผู้ประกอบการและ Startup ส่วน ดร. ทัดพงศ์ พงศ์ถาวรกมล Managing Director & Distinguished Visionary Architect, KASIKORN BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY GROUP (KBTG) มาเสริมเพิ่มเติมในเรื่องของ AI Impact on Global and National Economy
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีนวัตกรคนสำคัญ นายนิติ เมฆหมอก Honorary President Thai loT Association CEO., Synergy Technology& Syn Hub Digi-Tech Community ได้มาเล่าถึงแนวโน้มการพัฒนาบุคลากรด้าน AI เพื่อรองรับการเติบโตของอุตสาหกรรมในอนาคตได้อย่างน่าสนใจ ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น ผศ.ปัญญา เหล่าอนันต์ธนา คณาจารย์ พร้อมนิสิตจากคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ยังได้นำเสนอผลงานนวัตกรรมด้าน AI ซึ่งจะส่งผลให้เกิดประโยชน์ทางด้านความก้าวหน้าทางวิศวกรรมเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมต่างๆ เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน อันเป็นรากฐานที่สำคัญอย่างหนึ่งในการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและการเจริญเติบโตของประเทศ
การจัดงานครั้งนี้ รายได้ส่วนหนึ่งมอบให้กับการก่อตั้งคณะแพทยศาสตร์ และโรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์
On July 13, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), was honored to participate in a keynote speech on the challenges facing the industrial sector due to the role of AI, organized by the alumni association of the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, at the Centara Grand Bangkok Convention Center at CentralWorld.
The event featured 9 keynote speakers who are high-level executives from both the public and private sectors. Mr. Phai Phum Rojanasakul, the Deputy Minister of Finance, provided insights on artificial intelligence and its implications for economic security and financial stability. Professor Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Kasetsart University, discussed advancements in engineering, building the future with artificial intelligence, and various successful projects undertaken by the Faculty of Engineering at Kasetsart University, both currently and in future plans.
From the public sector, Captain Prayut Setthaphirhom, Deputy Director-General of the Excise Department, spoke on how AI can support government work in moving Thailand towards sustainability.
In the private sector, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), shared valuable information about the challenges faced by the industrial sector due to the role of AI, which is increasingly changing as digital technology transitions, geopolitical conflicts, and the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic accelerate the shift towards digital technology adoption and climate change issues. He emphasized the current role of AI technology in accelerating business transformations that create opportunities, enhance precision in production processes, and reduce errors and risks that may affect certain professions being replaced or eliminated. Thailand is currently developing infrastructure and policies on AI to ensure readiness for AI application.
Furthermore, FTI is promoting a 4 GO approach to elevate SMEs to Smart SMEs, which includes Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, and Go Green, to enhance the competitiveness of the Thai industrial sector in the global market.
In the financial sector, Mr. Sakchai Peechapat, Chief Executive Officer of TISCO Financial Group Public Company Limited, supplemented the discussion on the potential and various benefits of AI in finance, emphasizing building trust and connections in the age of AI.
Regarding the energy sector, which is the backbone of the country, Dr. Rosaya Thienwaran, Executive Vice President of Technology Development for Future Energy New Business and Infrastructure at PTT Public Company Limited, provided various perspectives on the application of AI in the energy business.
From the perspective of entrepreneurs and experienced individuals in the successful Startup business, Mr. Nuttaput Phungjaroenpong, Founder and CEO of Ookbee Company Limited, shared his experiences concerning AI and business opportunities for entrepreneurs and Startups. Meanwhile, Dr. Tadpole Pongthavornkhamol, Managing Director & Distinguished Visionary Architect at KASIKORN BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY GROUP (KBTG), added insights into the impact of AI on the global and national economy.
Additionally, a prominent innovator, Mr. Niti Mekhamok, Honorary President of the Thai IoT Association and CEO of Synergy Technology & Syn Hub Digi-Tech Community, discussed the trends in developing AI talent to support future industry growth. Furthermore, Assistant Professor Panya Laoananthana and students from the Faculty of Engineering presented innovative AI projects that could lead to advancements in engineering technology and various innovations to enhance the quality of life for citizens, which is a critical foundation for economic development and growth in the country.
This event also allocated a portion of the proceeds to support the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital at Kasetsart University.
