วันเสาร์ที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2567 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสถาบันพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์และซอฟต์พาวเวอร์ ร่วมงานมหกรรมเกมนานาชาติ "Thailand International Game Showcase 2024" โดยมีผู้แทนสถาบันฯ นายกำธร ศิลาอ่อน นายปณิธาน ปวโรฬารวิทยา นายอภิภพ พึ่งชาญชัยกุล และนายสิทธิชัย เทพไพฑูรย์ เข้าร่วมเสวนาหัวข้อแนวทางขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยผ่านอุตสาหกรรมเกมและอุตสาหกรรมอื่นๆ จัดโดยกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม ณ TRUE ICON HALL ชั้น 7 ไอคอนสยาม
ภายในงาน TIGS 2024 มีกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจหลากหลาย อาทิ
1. Thai Board Game และ Thai Game Card โดยเปิดพื้นที่ให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ทดลองเล่นเกมกระดานที่มีชื่อเสียงของประเทศไทย
2. Thai and International PC และ Mobile Game ร่วมสัมผัสประสบการณ์เกมระดับโลก ให้ทดลองเล่นเกม PC และมือถือ
3. Game Developer สำรวจโลกของการสร้างเกมโดย Game Developer Gathering เครือข่ายผู้พัฒนาเกมไทย
4. E-Sport Player, E-Sport Backstage และ University เรียนรู้เบื้องหลังการจัดการแข่งขัน และค้นพบโอกาสทางการศึกษาที่จะพาไปสู่ความสำเร็จในอุตสาหกรรมเกม
5. งานสัมมนาด้านเกม (TIGS Forum) โดยวิทยากรจากต่างประเทศที่มาบรรยายและแลกเปลี่ยนแนวทางการส่งเสริมเกมสู่เวทีโลก
On Saturday, August 31, 2024, Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and President of the Creative Industry Development Institute and Soft Power, attended the Thailand International Game Showcase 2024. Representatives from the institute, including Mr. Kamthorn Silachon, Mr. Panithan Pawarolaewit, Mr. Apiphob Phuengchanchaikun, and Mr. Sitthichai Thepphaithun, participated in a discussion on strategies to drive Thailand through the gaming industry and other industries, organized by the Department of Cultural Promotion at TRUE ICON HALL, 7th floor, ICONSIAM.
The TIGS 2024 event featured a variety of interesting activities, including:
1. Thai Board Games and Thai Game Cards, where participants were invited to try out famous board games from Thailand.
2. Thai and International PC and Mobile Games, providing the experience of world-class games, allowing attendees to play PC and mobile games.
3. Game Developer, exploring the world of game creation at the Game Developer Gathering, a network of Thai game developers.
4. E-Sport Players, E-Sport Backstage, and University, learning about the behind-the-scenes of competitions and discovering educational opportunities that lead to success in the gaming industry.
5. Game Seminar (TIGS Forum) featuring speakers from abroad who shared insights and exchanged ways to promote games on the global stage.
