ส.อ.ท. ผนึกกำลังกว่า 30 หน่วยงาน ประกาศเจตนารมณ์ขับเคลื่อนสมรรถนะดิจิทัลแรงงานไทยสู่เวทีโลกFTI Collaborates with Over 30 Organizations to Declare Their Commitment to Enhance the Digital Competence of Thai Labor on a Global Stage

On Thursday, August 29, 2024, Mr. Pornnath Thitavaranon, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and President of the Institute of Information Technology and Communications for Industry, along with Mr. Sornpakorn Sirakanbandit, Committee Member and Secretary of the FTI Academy, and Mr. Panthakarn Chanakun, Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Digital Industry Group, joined forces to drive the Thai economy towards prosperity and sustainability by enhancing the digital competence of Thai labor during the "Thailand Digital Employer Day 2024" at Room Chao Phraya P. Pibulsongkram, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labor Building.

During the event, Mr. Pornnath participated in a seminar on the topic “Developing and Certifying the Digital Competence of Thai Labor to Enhance Income and Increase Business Competitiveness,” emphasizing the importance of upgrading the digital skills of Thai labor to enhance competitiveness and economic growth in the country.

FTI declared a commitment to "Elevating the Digital Competence of Thai Labor to International Standards" in collaboration with over 30 organizations, aiming to enhance the income of Thai labor and establish competitiveness at the international level.

Additionally, awards were announced and presented to the winners of the ICDL Digital Challenge 2024 in Thailand, which supports Thai labor in acquiring modern digital skills to compete on a global stage.
