เมื่อวันที่ 19 กันยายน 2567 นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสายงานการค้าและการลงทุน พร้อมด้วยนายอภิภพ พึ่งชาญชัยกุล รองเลขาธิการ ส.อ.ท. นายสืบพงศ์ เกตุนุติ และนางสาววัลยา วงศาริยวานิช คณะกรรมการ สภาธุรกิจไทย-ตุรกี ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะทูตจากสาธารณรัฐตุรกี นำโดยนางแซรัป แอร์ซอย (H.E. Mrs. Serap Ersoy) และ Mr. Ismail Hakki Gorucu อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษาด้านพาณิชย์ ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
การหารือในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจด้านการค้าและการลงทุน โดยมุ่งเน้นไปที่การเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าและการขยายปริมาณการค้าทวิภาคี รวมถึงความร่วมมือในภาคส่วนที่มีความสนใจร่วมกัน เช่น ความมั่นคงทางอาหาร เทคโนโลยี พลังงานหมุนเวียน และโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการหารือเกี่ยวกับข้อเสนอจากคณะกรรมการความสัมพันธ์ทางเศรษฐกิจตุรกี (DEIK) เพื่อให้มีการลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) กับสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ เช่น กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมปิโตรเคมี การพิมพ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์ ชิ้นส่วนและอะไหล่ยานยนต์ พลาสติก เป็นต้น ซึ่งจะช่วยสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางการค้าในอนาคต
On September 19, 2024, Mr. Chatchai Panyachiva, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Chairman of the Trade and Investment Division, along with Mr. Apipob Phungchanchaikul, Deputy Secretary-General of FTI, Mr. Suipong Ketunuti, and Ms. Walya Wongsaririyawanich, members of the Thai-Turkish Business Council, welcomed the delegation from the Republic of Turkey, led by H.E. Mrs. Serap Ersoy and Mr. Ismail Hakki Gorucu, Counselor for Commercial Affairs, at the Mongkolsuthi Room of FTI.
The main purpose of this discussion was to deliberate on economic cooperation in trade and investment, focusing on strengthening trade relations and expanding bilateral trade volume, as well as collaboration in sectors of mutual interest such as food security, technology, renewable energy, and infrastructure.
Additionally, there were discussions regarding proposals from the Turkish Economic Relations Board (DEIK) for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) in various industrial sectors, including petrochemical, printing and packaging, automotive parts and accessories, and plastics. This will facilitate and promote future trade cooperation.
