เมื่อวันที่ 19 กันยายน 2567 นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสายงาน การค้าและการลงทุน พร้อมด้วยนายกิตติพงศ์ ลิ่มสุวรรณโรจน์ กรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. ดร.สวนิตย์ บุญญาสุวัฒน์ รองประธานกลุ่ม BCG Model ส.อ.ท. นายอาทิตย์ เวชกิจ และนางสาวเสวิตา ถิ่นสันติสุข รองประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานหมุนเวียน ส.อ.ท. ให้การต้อนรับคณะทูตจากสาธารณรัฐเช็ก นำโดย Mr. Libor Votruba ประธานคณะกรรมการต่างประเทศเช็ก-ไทย และ Mr. Miroslav Sklenář รองประธานคณะกรรมการต่างประเทศเช็ก-ไทย สภาหอการค้าสาธารณรัฐเช็ก ในโอกาสเยือนประเทศไทย ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
การหารือในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์ทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทยและเช็ก โดยเฉพาะด้านการค้าและการลงทุน ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ร่วมกันหารือถึงโอกาสทางธุรกิจที่น่าสนใจ โดยเฉพาะในภาคส่วนพลังงานหมุนเวียน ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับนโยบายของ ส.อ.ท. ที่มุ่งส่งเสริมการใช้พลังงานสะอาด และการขับเคลื่อนโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG (Bio-Circular-Green)
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับโอกาสทางธุรกิจในภาคส่วนอื่นๆ อาทิ ยานยนต์ ห่วงโซ่อุปทาน การท่องเที่ยว สุขภาพ และเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ
ทั้งนี้ ยังมีการหารือเกี่ยวกับการจัดกิจกรรมต่างๆ เช่น กิจกรรมจับคู่ธุรกิจ เพื่อเป็นเวทีให้ภาคเอกชนของทั้งสองประเทศ ได้พบปะแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและสร้างเครือข่ายทางธุรกิจ ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่การลงทุนและความร่วมมือทางธุรกิจที่เป็นรูปธรรมในอนาคต
On September 19, 2024, Mr. Chatchai Panichwuthin, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Chairman of the Trade and Investment Committee, along with Mr. Kittipong Limsuwannaroj, Executive Board Member of FTI, Dr. Suwanit Boonyasuwat, Vice Chairman of the BCG Model Group of FTI, Mr. Arthit Wechakit, and Ms. Sawita Thinsantisuk, Vice Chairpersons of the Renewable Energy Industry Group of FTI, welcomed a delegation from the Czech Republic, led by Mr. Libor Votruba, Chairman of the Czech-Thailand Foreign Affairs Committee, and Mr. Miroslav Sklenář, Vice Chairman of the Czech-Thailand Foreign Affairs Committee of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, during their visit to Thailand at the Mongkolsuthee Room, FTI.
The primary objective of this discussion was to strengthen economic relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic, especially in trade and investment. Both parties discussed interesting business opportunities, particularly in the renewable energy sector, which aligns with FTI's policy aimed at promoting the use of clean energy and advancing the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) economic model.
Additionally, opinions were exchanged regarding business opportunities in various sectors, such as automotive, supply chain, tourism, health, and biotechnology.
Furthermore, discussions also covered the organization of various activities, such as business matching events, which will serve as a platform for the private sectors of both countries to exchange information and create business networks, ultimately leading to tangible investments and business collaborations in the future.
