ส.อ.ท. ร่วมลงนามการพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านการผลิตประจำโรงงานด้วยองค์ความรู้ด้าน Digital และ AutomationFTI Signs Memorandum of Understanding for Development of Manufacturing Personnel with Knowledge in Digital and Automation

On September 23, 2024, Mr. Thaworn Chonlathea, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), signed a memorandum of understanding for the collaboration in developing manufacturing personnel at factories using knowledge in Digital and Automation to enhance competitiveness, alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satearn Thanyasrirat, President of Pathumwan Institute of Technology, and Mr. Somchai Jakkreen, Director of the Thai-German Institute, at the Sawasdiwatnawisit Conference Room, 7th Floor, Chalerm Phrakiat Building, Pathumwan Institute of Technology.

Mr. Thaworn stated that the purpose of this MOU is primarily to jointly develop training curricula for Internal SI within the industrial sector to possess knowledge in Digital and Automation in line with the changes of Industry 4.0.

The collaboration between FTI and Pathumwan Institute of Technology, which is an educational institution with a future policy of being "University for Industry," will facilitate the application of knowledge from factories to align with the Credit Bank system, reduce structured learning within the educational framework, and enhance flexibility for learners of all ages in accordance with modern learning. The Thai-German Institute, as a specialized agency, is prepared to support in terms of trainers, tools, and equipment for developing the country's industrial workforce under this collaboration, which will be highly beneficial in upgrading and developing the workforce in the industrial sector, a vital force for Thailand moving forward.
