วันอังคารที่ 24 กันยายน 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. ร่วมให้การต้อนรับคณะกงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์ประจําคิวบา เบลีซ เม็กซิโก และกัวเตมาลา และผู้แทนภาคเอกชนจากเม็กซิโก เนื่องในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทย นำโดย นายรุจ ธรรมมงคล เอกอัครราชทูตประจำกรุงเม็กซิโก โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก H.E. Mr. Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodriguez เอกอัครราชทูตคิวบา H.E. Mrs. Shirley Dennise Aguilar Barrera เอกอัครราชทูตกัวเตมาลา และ Ms. Atzimba Luna Becerril ผู้รักษาราชการแทนเอกอัครราชทูตเม็กซิโก เข้าร่วม ณ ห้องประชุม PTT Group (1012) ส.อ.ท.
ในการหารือครั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. ได้แนะนำบทบาทและนโยบาย ONE FTI ในการเป็นศูนย์กลางการเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งแก่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้สามารถแข่งขันได้ในระดับสากล เพื่อพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ สังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมของไทยให้ยั่งยืน ทั้งนี้ ช่วงท้ายของการหารือ นายเกรียงไกร ได้มีการลงนาม MOU ร่วมกับ Mr. Stephane Michel, Chairman of Business Committee of Southeast Asia, Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE) เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคเอกชน ด้านการค้า การลงทุน
ในโอกาสนี้ ส.อ.ท. ยังได้เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวัน เพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่คณะดังกล่าวในการเยือนประเทศไทย เพื่อสะท้อนถึงความตั้งใจที่จะเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ และความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและประเทศในกลุ่มลาตินอเมริกาในอนาคตอีกด้วย
On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Mr. Kiangkarin Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with the FTI executive team, welcomed a delegation of honorary consuls from Cuba, Belize, Mexico, and Guatemala, as well as representatives from the private sector in Mexico, on the occasion of their visit to Thailand, led by Mr. Ruj Thammongkol, Ambassador to Mexico. The delegation included H.E. Mr. Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodriguez, Ambassador of Cuba, H.E. Mrs. Shirley Dennise Aguilar Barrera, Ambassador of Guatemala, and Ms. Atzimba Luna Becerril, Chargé d'Affaires of Mexico, at the PTT Group meeting room (1012) at FTI.
During this meeting, FTI introduced the role and policy of ONE FTI as a center to strengthen the Thai industrial sector's ability to compete at the international level, aiming to develop the economy, society, and environment of Thailand sustainably. At the conclusion of the discussion, Mr. Kiangkarin signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Stephane Michel, Chairman of the Business Committee of Southeast Asia, Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE), to promote cooperation between the private sectors in trade and investment.
On this occasion, FTI also hosted a luncheon in honor of the delegation during their visit to Thailand, reflecting the intention to strengthen relations and cooperation between Thailand and Latin American countries in the future.
