เมื่อวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายปณิธาน ปวโรฬารวิทยา เลขาธิการ ส.อ.ท. และรองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายถาวร ชลัษเฐียร ดร.วิรัช ฉัตรดรงค์ ดร.นิลสุวรรณ ลีลารัศมี นายปรีดา วัชรเธียรสกุล และคณะผู้บริหาร ให้การต้อนรับ รศ.ดร.วิทยา วัณณสุโภประสิทธิ์ คณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ศ.ดร.พิสุทธิ์ เพียรมนกุล รองคณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ศ.ดร.เสวกชัย ตั้งอร่ามวงศ์ รองคณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ พร้อมคณะ ในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธาน ส.อ.ท. วาระปี 2569–2571 ณ ห้องประชุม PFP Healthy (1011) ชั้น 10 ส.อ.ท
ในการนี้ ทั้งสองหน่วยงานได้หารือแนวทางพัฒนาบัณฑิตพันธุ์ใหม่ เพื่อยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ โดยมุ่งปรับการศึกษาจากการเน้นทฤษฎีสู่การพัฒนาทักษะและสมรรถนะที่ปฏิบัติงานได้จริง (Upskill/Reskill) ควบคู่กับการผลิตกำลังคนที่สามารถทำงานร่วมกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยมนุษย์ยังคงมีบทบาทสำคัญด้านการคิดวิเคราะห์ การใช้วิจารณญาณ และการตัดสินใจ
ทั้งนี้ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้นำเสนอเป้าหมายพัฒนาบุคลากรภาคการผลิตจำนวน 36,000 คน ภายใน 3 ปี หรือเฉลี่ยปีละ 12,000 คน เพื่อรองรับความต้องการกำลังคนของประเทศ
นอกจากนี้ สถาบันน้ำ สิ่งแวดล้อมและ Climate Change (WECCI) ของ ส.อ.ท. ยังขับเคลื่อนภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยสู่การสร้าง Water Resilience เพื่อเสริมความมั่นคงด้านการผลิต การลงทุน และขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน ผ่าน 3 แนวทางหลัก ได้แก่ 1. Water Security & Risk Management การบริหารความเสี่ยงด้านน้ำ 2. Water Intensity & Technology การเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้น้ำและการนำน้ำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ และ 3. Water Network & Communication การสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือและแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ เพื่อผลักดันการบริหารจัดการน้ำอย่างยั่งยืน
ทั้งนี้ สถาบัน WECCI ยังผลักดันแนวคิด Water Clinic เพื่อสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการ โดยเฉพาะ SMEs ให้เข้าถึงผู้เชี่ยวชาญ เทคโนโลยี และองค์ความรู้ด้านน้ำ ผ่านการให้คำปรึกษาเชิงปฏิบัติ เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้น้ำ ลดความเสี่ยง และเสริมขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันอย่างยั่งยืน
On June 30, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Panithan Pawarolarwit, Secretary-General of FTI, and Vice President of FTI, Mr. Thaworn Chonlatsathian, Dr. Wirach Chatradit, Dr. Nilsuwan Leelarasmee, and Mr. Preeda Watcharateerasakul, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wittaya Wannarsohoprasit, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phisuth Piammanukool, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sawakchai Tangaramwong, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and their team on the occasion of congratulating the new President of FTI for the term 2026–2028 at the PFP Healthy (1011) meeting room, 10th floor of FTI.
During the meeting, both organizations discussed ways to develop a new breed of graduates to enhance the country’s competitiveness by shifting education from a theoretical focus to the development of practical skills and competencies (Upskill/Reskill) in parallel with producing a workforce that can effectively work with artificial intelligence (AI), while humans continue to play an important role in analytical thinking, judgment, and decision-making.
The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) presented its goal to develop 36,000 personnel in the manufacturing sector within 3 years, averaging 12,000 per year, to meet the country’s workforce demand.
Additionally, the Water, Environment and Climate Change Institute (WECCI) of FTI is driving Thailand's industrial sector towards creating Water Resilience to enhance security in production, investment, and competitiveness through three main approaches: 1. Water Security & Risk Management, 2. Water Intensity & Technology for improving water efficiency and recycling, and 3. Water Network & Communication to build a cooperative network and exchange of knowledge to promote sustainable water management.
The WECCI Institute is also promoting the Water Clinic concept to support entrepreneurs, especially SMEs, in accessing experts, technologies, and knowledge related to water through practical consulting to improve water efficiency, reduce risks, and enhance sustainable competitiveness.
