เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2569 นายกำธร ศิลาอ่อน ประธานสถาบันพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ (CISPI) สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงานแถลงข่าว Thailand Character and Content Expo 2026 ซึ่งจัดโดยกรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา โดยมีนางอรมน ทรัพย์ทวีธรรม อธิบดีกรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา เป็นประธานในงาน ณ SCBx Next Tech ชั้น 4 ศูนย์การค้าสยามพารากอน
กิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบด้วยพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ระหว่างกรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญากับหน่วยงานพันธมิตร และการเสวนาพิเศษในหัวข้อ “อนาคตครีเอเตอร์ไทยสู่สากล” โดยมีผู้ร่วมเสวนา ได้แก่ นางสาววิภัชบุญ กล่าวสุนทร ผู้อำนวยการกองลิขสิทธิ์ กรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา นายพิชญะ นิธิไพศาลกุล ผู้แทนกลุ่ม Character & Art นายนพณัช ชัยวิมล รองกรรมการผู้อำนวยการฝ่าย Content Production บริษัท จีเอ็มเอ็มทีวี จำกัด (GMMTV) ผู้แทนกลุ่ม Content & Story นายสันตสิริ ศิริกุล ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายปฏิบัติการ บริษัท อิ๊กดราซิล กรุ๊ป จำกัด (มหาชน) ผู้แทนกลุ่ม Game & Interactive และนายณภัทร พรหมพฤกษ์ นายกสมาคมการค้าลิขสิทธิ์และของที่ระลึกจากคาแรกเตอร์ ดีไซน์ ของเล่น และผลงานศิลป์ร่วมสมัยไทย (TCAP) ผู้แทนกลุ่ม Creative & Lifestyle
นอกจากนี้ ภายในงานยังมีการเปิดตัวบอร์ดเกม “หมูเด้ง” ซึ่งจัดทำโดยองค์การสวนสัตว์แห่งประเทศไทย ร่วมกับสมาคมอุตสาหกรรมซอฟต์แวร์เกมไทย (TGA)
สำหรับงาน Thailand Character and Content Expo 2026 จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 9–12 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ ศูนย์การค้าสยามพารากอนและสยามเซ็นเตอร์ นับเป็นมหกรรมแสดงผลงานและเจรจาธุรกิจด้านคาแรกเตอร์ คอนเทนต์ และทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาสร้างสรรค์ของประเทศไทย ที่รวบรวมผู้ประกอบการ นักสร้างสรรค์ และเจ้าของผลงานทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาไทยกว่า 250 ราย มาไว้ในงานเดียว ครอบคลุมอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ 4 กลุ่มหลัก ได้แก่ Character & Art, Content & Story, Game & Interactive และ Creative & Lifestyle
ภายในงาน ยังมีกิจกรรมสำคัญหลากหลายรูปแบบ ทั้งการสัมมนา การพัฒนาศักยภาพ และกิจกรรมจับคู่ธุรกิจ (Business Matching) เพื่อส่งเสริมโอกาสทางการค้า การลงทุน และการขยายเครือข่ายธุรกิจของผู้ประกอบการไทยสู่เวทีสากล
On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Mr. Kamthorn Silaoon, Chairman of the Creative Industries Development Institute (CISPI) of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended the press conference for the Thailand Character and Content Expo 2026 organized by the Department of Intellectual Property. Mrs. Orman Subthaveetham, Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, presided over the event at SCBx Next Tech, 4th Floor, Siam Paragon Shopping Center.
The activities at the event included the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Intellectual Property and partner agencies, as well as a special panel discussion on the topic “The Future of Thai Creators on the Global Stage.” The panelists included Ms. Wipatchapoon Klaisunthorn, Director of the Copyright Division, Department of Intellectual Property; Mr. Pitchaya Nithi-Paisankul, representative of the Character & Art group; Mr. Nopparat Chaiwimon, Deputy Managing Director of Content Production at GMMTV, representative of the Content & Story group; Mr. Santasiri Sirikul, Chief Operating Officer of Yggdrasil Group Public Company Limited, representative of the Game & Interactive group; and Mr. Napath Phrompruek, President of the Character Licensing and Souvenirs Association for Thai Design, Toys, and Contemporary Art (TCAP), representative of the Creative & Lifestyle group.
In addition, the event featured the launch of the board game “Moo Deng,” created by the Zoological Organization of Thailand in collaboration with the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA).
The Thailand Character and Content Expo 2026 will take place from July 9 to 12, 2026, at Siam Paragon and Siam Center. It is a grand exhibition showcasing works and business negotiations in the character, content, and creative intellectual property sectors of Thailand, gathering over 250 entrepreneurs, creators, and owners of Thai intellectual property in one place, covering four main creative industry groups: Character & Art, Content & Story, Game & Interactive, and Creative & Lifestyle.
The event will also feature various important activities, including seminars, capacity development, and business matching activities to promote trade opportunities, investment, and the expansion of Thai entrepreneurs' business networks to the international stage.
