เมื่อวันที่ 22 พฤศจิกายน 2567 นายปรนนท์ ฐิตะวรรโณ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสถาบันเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสารเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม (ICTI) เข้าร่วมบรรยายบนเวที “Thailand – Taiwan Industrial IoT Technology Dialogue and Matchmaking for Net-Zero Emissions” ในงาน Taiwan Expo 2024 in Thailand ซึ่งเป็นงานแสดงผลิตภัณฑ์และโซลูชั่นที่ล้ำสมัยจากบริษัทชั้นนำของไต้หวันกว่า 170 บริษัท ครอบคลุม 5 ด้านหลัก ได้แก่ การผลิตอัจฉริยะ (Smart Manufacturing) การแพทย์อัจฉริยะ (Smart Medical) ไลฟ์สไตล์อัจฉริยะ (Smart Lifestyle) เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) และ วัฒนธรรมและการท่องเที่ยว (Culture & Tourism) ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 21-23 พฤศจิกายน 2567 ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ (QSNCC) ฮอลล์ 5
ทั้งนี้ นายปรนนท์ ได้บรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “Thailand Industrial IoT Application Trend for Net-Zero Emissions” โดยได้กล่าวถึงทิศทางการนำเทคโนโลยี IoT มาใช้ในภาคอุตสาหกรรมของไทย และปัจจัยที่สนับสนุนให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยประยุกต์ใช้ IoT มากขึ้นในอนาคต ทั้งด้าน IoT for Smart Factory, IoT for Smart Robot & Automation, IoT for Smart 5G & AIoT, IoT for Smart Green Tech Platform และ IoT for Smart Energy
นอกจากนี้ ยังกล่าวเพิ่มเติมถึงแนวทางการส่งเสริมการลดการปล่อยคาร์บอนในภาคอุตสาหกรรมของไทย และบทบาทของ ส.อ.ท. เพื่อตอบสนองต่อมาตรการปรับคาร์บอนก่อนข้ามพรมแดน (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism - CBAM) โดย ส.อ.ท. ได้มีการจัดตั้งหน่วยงานต่างๆ เพื่อตอบสนองนโยบายด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและการลดการปล่อยคาร์บอน อาทิ สถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความยั่งยืน (สนส.) สถาบันการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (สปอ.) สถาบันการจัดการบรรจุภัณฑ์และรีไซเคิลเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม (สบ.) รวมถึงสถาบันเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสารเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม (สทอ.) เป็นต้น โดยมีผลงานโดดเด่นมากมาย เช่น การส่งเสริมแพลตฟอร์มโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมเชิงนิเวศ (Eco Factory): และแพลตฟอร์มวอเตอร์ฟุตพริ้นท์ (Water Footprint) การออกใบรับรองฉลากสิ่งแวดล้อม Eco Plus รวมไปถึงแพลตฟอร์ม FTIX ซึ่งเป็นแพลตฟอร์มซื้อขายคาร์บอนเครดิต โครงการ Backpack ซึ่งจัดการบรรจุภัณฑ์ติดตามวงจรชีวิตของบรรจุภัณฑ์ รวมถึงการจัดกิจกรรม สร้างการรับรู้ด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมแห่งอนาคต เช่น AI Solution for Industry Expo และ Industrial IoT Solution Expo เป็นต้น
On November 22, 2024, Mr. Phanont Thitawanro, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and President of the Institute of Information Technology and Communication for Industry (ICTI), delivered a keynote speech at the “Thailand – Taiwan Industrial IoT Technology Dialogue and Matchmaking for Net-Zero Emissions” during the Taiwan Expo 2024 in Thailand. This event showcased state-of-the-art products and solutions from over 170 leading companies from Taiwan, covering five main sectors: Smart Manufacturing, Smart Medical, Smart Lifestyle, Circular Economy, and Culture & Tourism. The event was held from November 21-23, 2024, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Hall 5.
Mr. Phanont presented a special lecture on “Thailand Industrial IoT Application Trend for Net-Zero Emissions,” discussing the direction of IoT technology adoption in the Thai industrial sector and the factors supporting Thai entrepreneurs to increasingly apply IoT in the future. These include IoT for Smart Factory, IoT for Smart Robot & Automation, IoT for Smart 5G & AIoT, IoT for Smart Green Tech Platform, and IoT for Smart Energy.
Additionally, he elaborated on strategies to promote carbon emission reduction within Thailand's industrial sector and the role of FTI in responding to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). To address environmental policies and carbon emission reduction, FTI has established various agencies, such as the Institute for Water and Sustainable Environment (IWS), the Institute for Climate Change (ICCM), the Institute for Packaging Management and Environmental Recycling (IPE), and the Institute of Information Technology and Communication for Industry (ICTI). Their notable initiatives include promoting the Eco Factory platform, the Water Footprint platform, issuing Eco Plus environmental labels, and the FTIX platform for carbon credit trading. They have also launched the Backpack project, which manages packaging life cycle tracking, along with awareness-raising activities on future technologies and innovations, such as the AI Solution for Industry Expo and the Industrial IoT Solution Expo, among others.
