เมื่อวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม 2567 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายสุพจน์ ชัยวิไล เลขาธิการ และนางสาวยศรา ลิมป์ไพฑูรย์ ผู้ช่วยเลขาธิการฯ เข้าร่วมพิธีลงนามความร่วมมือ MOU ด้านความร่วมมือด้านการค้าระหว่างกรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศกับกรมพาณิชย์มณฑลกานซู่ โดยมีนายพิชัย นริพทะพันธุ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ ร่วมเป็นสักขีพยาน ณ ห้องพาณิชย์สัมพันธ์ ชั้น 11 กรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ
MOU ครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นเพื่อสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการไทยโดยเฉพาะกลุ่ม SME ที่สนใจดำเนินธุรกิจในตลาดมณฑลกานซู่และภาคตะวันตกของจีน ได้ขยายผลประโยชน์ทางเศรษฐกิจของไทยและจีนในมณฑลกานซู่ ซึ่งถือเป็นหนึ่งในมณฑลที่กระทรวงพาณิชย์ไทยให้ความสำคัญเป็นอย่างมาก เนื่องจากตั้งอยู่ในจุดกึ่งกลางของประเทศจีน ทำให้เป็นพื้นที่ยุทธศาสตร์ด้านโลจิสติกส์ ภายใต้เส้นทางระเบียงการค้าเชื่อมทางบกและทางทะเลระหว่างประเทศสายใหม่ (New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor - ILSTC) ซึ่งเป็นประตูการค้าที่สามารถทำให้สินค้าไทยขยายไปสู่ตลาดในมณฑลทางภาคตะวันตกของจีนได้อย่างแพร่หลายยิ่งขึ้น
นอกจากนี้ ส.อ.ท. ยังได้เข้าร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับนางสาวสุนันทา กังวาลกุลกิจ อธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ เนื่องในโอกาสรับตำแหน่งใหม่และเชิญเป็นที่ปรึกษาของสถาบันฯ พร้อมทั้งหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือในการขยายตลาดการค้าของผู้ประกอบการไทย และการเตรียมความพร้อมของผู้ประกอบการไทยในการทำธุรกิจกับจีนในอนาคต
On December 4, 2024, Mr. Arun Iamsuree, President of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Supachai Chaiwilai, Secretary-General, and Ms. Yasara Limpaitoon, Assistant Secretary-General, participated in the MOU signing ceremony for trade cooperation between the Department of International Trade Promotion and the Department of Commerce of Gansu Province, witnessed by Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, at the Commercial Relations Room, 11th Floor, Department of International Trade Promotion.
This MOU aims to support Thai entrepreneurs, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) interested in conducting business in the Gansu Province and the western region of China, to expand the economic benefits of Thailand and China in Gansu, which is regarded as one of the provinces of significant importance to the Thai Ministry of Commerce. This is due to its central location in China, making it a strategic logistics area under the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC), which serves as a trade gateway allowing Thai products to expand more widely into the markets in the western provinces of China.
Additionally, FTI also congratulated Ms. Sunanta Kangwankulkit, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, on her new appointment and invited her to be an advisor to the Institute while discussing cooperative strategies to expand trade markets for Thai entrepreneurs and preparing Thai entrepreneurs for future business engagements with China.
