ส.อ.ท. จัดงาน MiT สร้างโอกาสสู่การจัดซื้อจัดจ้างภาครัฐ จังหวัดนครราชสีมาFTA Organizes MiT Event to Create Opportunities for Government Procurement in Nakhon Ratchasima

On Thursday, January 25, 2024, Mr. Nava Janthanasurakhan, Chairman of the Made in Thailand (MiT) Subcommittee, led a team in collaboration with the Comptroller General's Department and the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Industry Council to organize the MiT Roadshow in the Northeast themed “MiT Creates Opportunities for Government Procurement.” The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Jaruporn Tamkalang, Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Treasurer, who officially opened the event, along with the committee of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Industry Council, led by Ms. Thidarat Rodanan, Chairwoman of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Industry Council, who provided a warm welcome at The Imperial Hotel and Convention Center Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

During the event, Mr. Nava emphasized the objective of encouraging entrepreneurs who manufacture products in Nakhon Ratchasima to seize the significant opportunity to register their products for MiT certification, thereby gaining a competitive advantage of up to 5% in public procurement auctions. There were 20 public and private agencies participating with booths at the event, and over 100 members and SMEs in the area expressed interest in attending.
