วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 6 มิถุนายน 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายกฤษณ์ อิ่มแสง เลขาธิการ ส.อ.ท. และคณะกรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. ให้การต้อนรับนายยุทธศักดิ์ สุภสร ประธานกรรมการ การนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (กนอ.) พร้อมด้วยนายวีริศ อัมระปาล ผู้ว่าการ กนอ. และคณะผู้บริหารระดับสูงของ กนอ. เพื่อประชุมหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือเกี่ยวกับ “การสื่อสารการปรับบทบาทใหม่ของ กนอ. ในฐานะเป็นผู้เชื่อมต่อและเร่งรัดการลงทุนของประเทศไทยภายใต้แนวคิด NOW Thailand” ณ ห้อง PASSION (802) ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
นายยุทธศักดิ์ กล่าวว่า ตามที่นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรี มีนโยบายเร่งรัดการลงทุนของประเทศ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในการลงทุนเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ที่ต้องการให้เกิดการลงทุนในประเทศนั้น กนอ. ได้รับนโยบายดังกล่าวกำหนดเป็นแคมเปญ “Now Thailand” “ทางด่วน” เร่งรัดการลงทุนไทย เพื่อเสริมการดึงดูดการลงทุนในนิคมอุตสาหกรรม สร้างการรับรู้และการยอมรับให้ไทยเป็นจุดหมายปลายทางของการลงทุนระดับโลก และ กนอ. ในฐานะหน่วยงานที่ขานรับนโยบายจากนายกรัฐมนตรี จึงต้องปรับเปลี่ยนบทบาทในการเร่งรัดการลงทุน โดยมุ่งเน้นการเป็น Investment Connect เชื่อมต่อทุกเรื่องของการลงทุน เปิดพื้นที่ศักยภาพรองรับการลงทุนทำการตลาดและประชาสัมพันธ์ในระดับสากล เพื่อสร้างภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีของประเทศไทยในฐานะจุดหมายปลายทางของการลงทุนโลก และช่วยเร่งรัดการลงทุนของประเทศในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายตามนโยบายรัฐบาล
ด้านนายเกรียงไกร กล่าวว่า นโยบายขับเคลื่อน ส.อ.ท. วาระปี 2567-2569 คือ ONE FTI แบ่งออกเป็น VISION เสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่งให้อุตสาหกรรมไทย เพื่อประเทศไทยที่เข้มแข็งกว่าเดิม หรือ “Strengthen Thai Industries for Stronger Thailand” โดยเป็นแกนกลางเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งและผลิตภาพอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้สามารถแข่งขันได้ในระดับสากล เพื่อพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ สังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมของไทยให้ยั่งยืน โดยมีความมุ่งมั่นในการเร่งยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมเดิม (First Industries) และพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมใหม่ (Next-GEN Industries)
ทั้งนี้ ดร.ชนะ ภูมี รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และประธานสถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความยั่งยืน ได้กล่าวถึงการดำเนินงานร่วมกันของ กนอ. และ ส.อ.ท. ที่ผ่านมา อาทิเช่น การพัฒนาจัดทำระบบการรับรองโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมเชิงนิเวศ (Eco Factory) และส่งเสริมให้โรงงานในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมให้ได้รับการรับรองโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมเชิงนิเวศ (Eco Factory) การสนับสนุนส่งเสริมการพัฒนาเมืองอุตสาหกรรมเชิงนิเวศ ของ กนอ. การจัดงาน Eco Innovation ประจำปี และการศึกษาวิจัยการนำของเสียอุตสาหกรรมมาใช้ประโยชน์ พร้อมกันนี้ได้กล่าวถึงบันทึกความร่วมมือ เพื่อสนับสนุนส่งเสริมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมเชิงนิเวศ (Eco Factory) และเมืองอุตสาหกรรมเชิงนิเวศของ กนอ. ร่วมกันให้เป็นที่รู้จักและได้รับการยอมรับอย่างแพร่หลาย โดยจะขยายความร่วมมือระหว่าง กนอ. และ ส.อ.ท. ให้ครอบคลุมในทุกมิติมากขึ้น
นอกจากนี้ กนอ. ได้ขอความร่วมมือในการส่งเสริมผู้ประกอบการ ดังนี้
1. สนับสนุนการปรับบทบาทของ กนอ. สู่ “ผู้เร่งรัดการลงทุน” ภายใต้แนวคิด NOW Thailand โอกาสทองของการลงทุน ไม่มีเวลาใดที่ดีไปกว่านี้แล้วที่จะลงทุนในประเทศไทย โดย NOW Thailand จะเป็น Key Visual หลักในทำการตลาดและเร่งรัดการลงทุนของ กนอ. สะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นของ กนอ. ที่จะเป็น Investment Connect เชื่อมต่อทุกเรื่องของการลงทุน เปิดพื้นที่ศักยภาพรองรับการลงทุน ทำการตลาดและประชาสัมพันธ์ในระดับสากล
2. แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล I-EA-T Investment Outlook เพื่อใช้ในการกำหนดทิศทางยุทธศาสตร์ในการขับเคลื่อนประทศไทยสู่การเป็นจุดหมายปลายทางของการลงทุนโลกและช่วยเร่งรัดการลงทุนของประเทศในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล
3. ส่งเสริม Investment Fast Track – “ทางด่วน” ของการลงทุน โดย ส.อ.ท. และ กนอ. จะร่วมมือกันในการเชื่อมต่อการลงทุนที่ยั่งยืน มุ่งสนับสนุนนักลงทุนให้สามารถดำเนินธุรกิจได้ง่ายและสะดวกขึ้น โดยพิจารณาการเพิ่มสิทธิประโยชน์ใกล้เคียงกับภูมิภาคเพื่อดึงดูดนักลงทุน และ เสนอแก้ไขกฎหมายที่เป็นอุปสรรคต่างๆ ในการเข้ามาทำธุรกิจในประเทศไทย
On Thursday, June 6, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Kritsana Imsaeng, Secretary-General of FTI, and the FTI Board members, welcomed Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Chairman of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), along with Mr. Weeras Amrapal, Governor of IEAT, and senior executives from IEAT to discuss pathways for cooperation concerning the "Communicating the New Role of IEAT as a Connector and Accelerator of Thailand's Investment under the NOW Thailand Concept" at PASSION Room (802), 8th Floor, FTI.
Mr. Yuthasak stated that, as per the policy of Prime Minister Mr. Settha Thavisin to accelerate the investment in the country, especially in strategic investments that are sought to encourage investment domestically, IEAT has adopted this policy and established the campaign “NOW Thailand” as a “Expressway” to expedite Thai investments to enhance the appeal of investments in industrial estates, creating awareness and recognition for Thailand as a global investment destination. As an agency that responds to the Prime Minister's policy, IEAT must adjust its role to accelerate investments by focusing on becoming an Investment Connect that links all aspects of investment, opens potential areas to accommodate investment, and markets and promotes internationally to create a positive image of Thailand as a global investment destination while helping to expedite investments in targeted industries according to government policy.
Mr. Kriangkrai further stated that the FTI’s driving policy for the years 2024-2026 is ONE FTI, divided into VISION to strengthen the competitiveness of Thai industries for a stronger Thailand, or “Strengthen Thai Industries for Stronger Thailand”. This serves as a core to enhance the strength and productivity of Thai industries to compete globally, aiming to develop a sustainable economy, society, and environment in Thailand, with determination to accelerate the upgrading of traditional industries (First Industries) and develop new industries (Next-GEN Industries).
Additionally, Dr. Chana Poomi, Vice Chairman of FTI and President of the Institute of Water and Environment for Sustainability, discussed the collaborative efforts between IEAT and FTI in the past, such as the development of an Eco Factory certification system for industrial factories and promoting eco-friendly industry certifications in industrial estates, along with support for IEAT's development of eco-industrial cities, the annual Eco Innovation event, and research on the utilization of industrial waste. He also mentioned the memorandum of understanding to support and promote eco-factory certifications and eco-industrial cities of IEAT to be widely recognized and accepted, aiming to expand cooperation between IEAT and FTI in a more comprehensive manner.
Moreover, IEAT requested collaboration in promoting operators as follows:
1. Support the new role of IEAT as an “Investment Accelerator” under the NOW Thailand concept, which is a golden opportunity for investment—there is no better time than now to invest in Thailand. The NOW Thailand concept will serve as the main Key Visual in marketing and expediting investments of IEAT, reflecting IEAT's commitment to be an Investment Connect that links all investment matters, opens potential areas to accommodate investment, and promotes internationally.
2. Exchange information on the I-EA-T Investment Outlook to determine strategic directions in driving Thailand to become a global investment destination and to help expedite the country’s investments in targeted industries according to government policy.
3. Promote Investment Fast Track – the “expressway” for investments, where FTI and IEAT will collaborate to connect sustainable investments, aiming to support investors to conduct business easier and more conveniently by considering the addition of incentives similar to those in the region to attract investors, and proposing amendments to laws that pose obstacles to doing business in Thailand.
