เมื่อวันที่ 30 กรกฎาคม 2568 นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้ร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับนายอับดุรเราะฮีม เราะห์ฮาลี (H.E. Mr. Abderrahim Rahhaly) เอกอัครราชทูตราชอาณาจักรโมร็อกโกประจำประเทศไทย เนื่องในโอกาสวันขึ้นครองราชย์ของสมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีโมฮัมเหม็ดที่ 6 ณ โรงแรมแรมแบรนดท์ กรุงเทพฯ
ทั้งนี้ ประเทศไทยกับราชอาณาจักรโมร็อกโกได้สถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตอย่างเป็นทางการตั้งแต่วันที่ 4 ตุลาคม 2528 โดยตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 39 ปี ทั้งสองประเทศได้พัฒนาความร่วมมือในหลากหลายมิติ อาทิ ด้านเศรษฐกิจและการค้า
ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยและโมร็อกโกได้ขยายตัวอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยทั้งสองประเทศต่างมองเห็นศักยภาพของกันและกันในฐานะตลาดและจุดเชื่อมโยงสำคัญ
ไทยถือว่าโมร็อกโกเป็นประตูสู่ตลาดแอฟริกาเหนือและยุโรปใต้ และไทยเป็นประตูสู่เอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ของโมร๊อกโก ในด้านวัฒนธรรมและการศึกษา โดยรัฐบาลโมร็อกโกได้มอบทุนการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษาไทยเป็นประจำทุกปี
On July 30, 2025, Ms. Pecharat Aeksangkul, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), extended her congratulations to H.E. Mr. Abderrahim Rahhaly, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Thailand, on the occasion of the accession anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the Rembrandt Hotel in Bangkok.
Thailand and the Kingdom of Morocco established official diplomatic relations on October 4, 1985. Over the past 39 years, the two countries have developed cooperation in various dimensions, including economy and trade.
The relationship between Thailand and Morocco has been continuously expanding, as both countries recognize the potential of each other as important markets and key connections.
Thailand views Morocco as a gateway to the North African and Southern European markets, while Morocco sees Thailand as a gateway to Southeast Asia. In terms of culture and education, the Moroccan government provides scholarships to Thai students regularly every year.
