CSR implementation in today's business sector is no longer merely about social activities; it is evolving into the creation of “partnerships” that connect the potential of the business sector with the government and various sectors to generate tangible and continuous outcomes. In particular, the industrial sector, with its knowledge, technology, personnel, and local networks, can actively participate in enhancing quality of life and developing society in a concrete manner.

One significant reflection of this is that over 30 member companies of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) received the CSR Award 2026, held to promote and recognize organizations in the business sector that excel in social responsibility, under the concept of “CSR Partnerships for Sustainable Thailand.” This underscores the increasing role of the Thai business sector in generating social change alongside their business operations.

On August 22, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairwoman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), assigned Mr. Veerachai Khunawichayanont, Vice Chairman of FTI, to congratulate the award-winning organizations during the award ceremony organized by the Department of Social Development and Welfare, with Mr. Kantasak Rangsisawang, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, presenting the awards at Impact Challenger, Muang Thong Thani, during the Social Development Expo 2026 (SDX 2026).

The concept of CSR Partnerships for Sustainable Thailand reflects a new direction in driving CSR that emphasizes increased collaboration, not just within individual organizations, but as a unified force between the government, business, and social sectors, enabling social development to expand and achieve long-term continuity.
