ความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างไทยและเวียดนาม ได้สถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตมาตั้งแต่ปี 2519 และยกระดับสู่การเป็น “หุ้นส่วนยุทธศาสตร์รอบด้าน” (Comprehensive Strategic Partnership) ครอบคลุมทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ การลงทุน การพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน และความร่วมมือระดับภาคเอกชน
ปัจจุบัน ไทยยังคงเป็นคู่ค้าอันดับ 1 ของเวียดนามในอาเซียน ขณะที่เวียดนามเป็นคู่ค้าอันดับ 2 ของไทยในภูมิภาค ซึ่งทั้งสองประเทศมุ่งมั่นที่จะเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรมให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนในอนาคต
On Thursday, October 9, 2025, Mr. Atsi Tansathit, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and Mr. Chatchai Panitchiwat, Vice Chairman of FTI, joined in congratulating H.E. Mr. Pham Viet Hung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Thailand, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the Athenee Crystal Hall, 3rd Floor, Athenee Tower, The Athenee Bangkok – A Luxury Collection Hotel.
The close relationship between Thailand and Vietnam was established with the inception of diplomatic relations in 1976 and was elevated to a “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,” encompassing areas such as economics, investment, infrastructure development, and private sector cooperation.
Currently, Thailand remains Vietnam's top trading partner in ASEAN, while Vietnam is Thailand's second-largest trading partner in the region. Both countries are committed to enhancing their economic and industrial cooperation for sustainable growth in the future.
