เมื่อวันที่ 17 พฤศจิกายน 2568 สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) นำโดยนายสงวน แสงวงศ์กิจ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออก พร้อมผู้บริหารภาคตะวันออก นายเฉลิม โกกนุทาภรณ์ เลขาธิการสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออก นายกิตติวุฒิ ศศิวิมลพันธุ์ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดชลบุรี เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการนโยบายเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (สกพอ.) จังหวัดชลบุรีอย่างเป็นทางการ ณ อาคารศูนย์การเรียนรู้การเงินและการลงทุนธุรกิจระหว่างประเทศ จังหวัดชลบุรี
พิธีเปิดได้รับเกียรติจากนายอารี ไกรนรา ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นประธาน โดยเน้นย้ำบทบาทของสำนักงานระดับจังหวัดในการผลักดันนโยบาย EEC ให้เข้าถึงประชาชนและภาคธุรกิจมากขึ้น พร้อมเดินหน้าพัฒนาพื้นที่ควบคู่กับการยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของชุมชน
ด้าน ดร.จุฬา สุขมานพ เลขาธิการ สกพอ. ระบุว่าสำนักงานแห่งนี้จะทำหน้าที่เป็น “One Stop Service” เชื่อมโยงการทำงานกับภาครัฐ ภาคอุตสาหกรรม และประชาชน เพื่อสนับสนุนอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย 12 คลัสเตอร์ ทั้งด้านเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูง การพัฒนาทักษะแรงงาน และโครงการฟื้นฟูชุมชน
ส.อ.ท. มองว่าการเปิดสำนักงาน สกพอ. จังหวัดชลบุรี จะช่วยสร้างความเชื่อมั่นด้านการลงทุน พัฒนาระบบอุตสาหกรรม และเสริมศักยภาพเศรษฐกิจฐานรากภาคตะวันออกอย่างยั่งยืน
On November 17, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), led by Mr. Songwan Saengwongkit, Chairman of the Eastern Industrial Council, along with executives from the eastern region, Mr. Chalerm Gokanutaporn, Secretary-General of the Eastern Industrial Council, and Mr. Kittiwut Sasivimonpan, Chairman of the Chonburi Provincial Industry Council, participated in the official opening ceremony of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EECP) office in Chonburi at the International Business Finance and Investment Learning Center, Chonburi Province.
The ceremony was honored by Mr. Ari Krainara, Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, who emphasized the role of provincial offices in promoting EEC policies to reach the public and the business sector, while also advancing the development of areas alongside enhancing the quality of life in communities.
Dr. Chula Sukmanop, Secretary-General of the EECP, stated that this office will act as a “One Stop Service,” linking operations with the government, the industrial sector, and the public to support 12 target industrial clusters in areas of advanced technology, workforce skill development, and community restoration projects.
FTI believes that the opening of the EECP office in Chonburi will help build confidence in investment, develop the industrial system, and strengthen the foundations of the eastern economy sustainably.
