เมื่อวันที่ 18 มีนาคม 2569 สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) นำโดย นายอภิชิต ประสพรัตน์ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และนางบัญชุสา พุทธพรมงคล ประธานคลัสเตอร์วัสดุก่อสร้าง ส.อ.ท. ร่วมกับคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ (ม.อ.) มูลนิธิไทยพีบีเอส และภาคีเครือข่าย ประกาศความสำเร็จในการพัฒนาโครงการบ้านต้นแบบ “บ้านเติมสุข” โดยชูนวัตกรรมการก่อสร้างระบบ Modular Housing เพื่อเร่งฟื้นฟูที่อยู่อาศัยและยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตให้แก่ผู้ประสบภัยมหาอุทกภัยในพื้นที่ภาคใต้ ณ ห้องประชุมดงยาง 1 คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา
ส.อ.ท. โดยคลัสเตอร์วัสดุก่อสร้าง ในฐานะผู้นำภาคอุตสาหกรรม มีบทบาทสำคัญในการสนับสนุนด้านเทคนิคและนวัตกรรมการผลิต โดยผลักดันการใช้ระบบ Modular ภายใต้หลักการ DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) ซึ่งเป็นการออกแบบที่เน้นความรวดเร็วในการประกอบและติดตั้ง (Prefabrication) เพื่อตอบโจทย์ความต้องการที่อยู่อาศัยอย่างเร่งด่วนในพื้นที่ประสบภัย
การพัฒนาแบบบ้าน “บ้านเติมสุข” ได้คำนึงถึงประโยชน์ของผู้ใช้งานจริงเป็นสำคัญ โดย ส.อ.ท. และคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ม.อ. พร้อมภาคีเครือข่าย ได้ร่วมกันรับฟังความคิดเห็นจากประชาชนในอำเภอหาดใหญ่และพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง เพื่อนำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์และปรับปรุงแบบบ้านให้สอดคล้องกับบริบททางสังคมและสภาพภูมิอากาศในพื้นที่มากที่สุด
โครงการ “บ้านเติมสุข” ไม่เพียงเป็นการส่งมอบที่อยู่อาศัยใหม่ แต่ยังเป็นการสร้างความร่วมมืออย่างยั่งยืนระหว่างภาควิชาการและภาคอุตสาหกรรม ในการนำองค์ความรู้ทางวิศวกรรมมาช่วยบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนของประชาชน พร้อมทั้งวางรากฐานการบริหารจัดการภัยพิบัติด้วยนวัตกรรมที่มีมาตรฐานในระยะยาว
On March 18, 2026, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), led by Mr. Apichit Prasornrat, Vice President of FTI, and Ms. Banchusa Phutthapromkong, Chairperson of the Construction Materials Cluster of FTI, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thai PBS Foundation, and network partners, announced the successful development of the prototype housing project “Happy House.” This project promotes the innovation of Modular Housing construction to accelerate the recovery of housing and improve the quality of life for flood victims in the southern region at the Dong Yang 1 Meeting Room, Faculty of Engineering, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, Songkhla Province.
FTI, through the Construction Materials Cluster, plays a vital role in supporting technical and manufacturing innovation by promoting the use of the Modular system under the principles of DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly), which emphasizes rapid assembly and installation (Prefabrication) to meet urgent housing needs in disaster-affected areas.
The development of the “Happy House” model takes into account the needs of actual users. FTI, together with the Faculty of Engineering at PSU and network partners, participated in gathering feedback from residents in Hat Yai District and nearby areas to analyze and improve the house design in line with the local social context and climate conditions.
The “Happy House” project represents not only the provision of new housing but also the establishment of a sustainable collaboration between academia and industry, leveraging engineering knowledge to alleviate the hardships of the public, while laying the groundwork for disaster management with standard innovations in the long term.
