เมื่อวันที่ 29 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน Intelligent Asia Thailand 2024 โดยมี ดร.ณัฐพล รังสิตพล ปลัดกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม นายนฤตม์ เทอดสถีรศักดิ์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (บีโอไอ) Mr. Chang Chun-Fu ผู้แทนจากสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมไทเป ประจำประเทศไทย (Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand: TECO) Mr. Richard Lee ประธานสมาคมอุตสาหกรรม อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในไต้หวัน (The Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association: TEEMA) และ Mr. Maurice Lee ประธานสมาคมแผ่นวงจรพิมพ์ไต้หวัน (Taiwan Printed Circuit Association: TPCA) ร่วมกล่าวต้อนรับแขกผู้มีเกียรติในงาน พร้อมทั้งผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ณ ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมไบเทค (BITEC) บางนา
งาน Intelligent Asia Thailand 2024 งานจัดแสดงสินค้าเทคโนโลยี และโซลูชั่นด้านอุตสาหกรรมและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ กลุ่มสินค้า 5 กลุ่มหลัก ได้แก่ PCB (Printed Circuit Board) การประกอบอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ ระบบอัตโนมัติ จอแสดงผลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์อัจฉริยะ และพลังงานแบตเตอรี่ ซึ่งเชื่อมโยงอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตหลักของประเทศไทย โดยมีผู้ประกอบการแสดงสินค้ากว่า 200 บริษัทจากทั่วโลก ได้แก่ จีน ฮ่องกง ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ ไต้หวัน สหรัฐอเมริกา โปแลนด์ อินเดีย เยอรมนี เม็กซิโก เวียดนาม มาเลเซีย ไทย และสิงคโปร์ ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งรวมโซลูชั่นที่มีวิสัยทัศน์ เทคโนโลยีชั้นนำในการสำรวจและเชื่อมต่อ เพื่อพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมที่มีประสิทธิภาพ จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 29 กุมภาพันธ์ – 2 มีนาคม 2567 ณ ฮอลล์ 100 ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมไบเทค (BITEC) บางนา
ข้อมูลจากบีโอไอในปี 2566 ชี้ว่า การลงทุนจากไต้หวันในประเทศไทยสูงเป็นอันดับที่ 5 โดยมีมูลค่าคำขอรับการส่งเสริมกว่า 1.5 พันล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ ซึ่งเป็นการลงทุนจากนักลงทุนเดิมที่ขยายการลงทุนในประเทศไทย อาทิเช่น Delta Electronics, Apex Circuit และ Cal-Comp Electronics และจากนักลงทุนรายใหม่ เช่น Inventec, Compeq, Unimcron และ Zhen Ding Technology ซึ่งทางบีโอไอ เชื่อว่าในอนาคตการการลงทุนจากไต้หวันจะเติบโตมากขึ้น ซึ่งจะเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่สนับสนุนให้ไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางของอุตสาหกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ตลอดจนการสร้างห่วงโซ่อุปทาน (Supply Chain) ทั้งระบบ
On February 29, 2024, Mr. Chatchai Panichwatanawong, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in the opening ceremony of Intelligent Asia Thailand 2024. The event was attended by Dr. Natthaphon Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Mr. Narut Somboonrit, Secretary-General of the Board of Investment (BOI), Mr. Chang Chun-Fu, representative from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand (TECO), Mr. Richard Lee, President of the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association (TEEMA), and Mr. Maurice Lee, President of the Taiwan Printed Circuit Association (TPCA) who welcomed distinguished guests at the event alongside representatives from related government and private sectors to develop an efficient industry at the BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center.
The Intelligent Asia Thailand 2024 event showcases technology products and solutions in the industrial and electronic sectors, featuring five main product categories: PCB (Printed Circuit Board), electronics assembly, automation systems, smart electronic displays, and battery energy. This event connects core manufacturing industries in Thailand with over 200 exhibitors from around the world including China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, Poland, India, Germany, Mexico, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. It serves as a hub for visionary solutions and cutting-edge technology to explore and connect for the development of efficient industries, taking place from February 29 to March 2, 2024, at Hall 100, BITEC Bangna.
According to data from the BOI in 2023, Taiwan's investments in Thailand ranked fifth, with promotion request values exceeding 1.5 billion USD. This includes investments from existing investors expanding in Thailand such as Delta Electronics, Apex Circuit, and Cal-Comp Electronics, as well as new investors like Inventec, Compeq, Unimicron, and Zhen Ding Technology. The BOI believes that future investments from Taiwan will grow, which will be a significant factor in supporting Thailand as a hub for the electronics industry and the creation of a complete supply chain.
