วันพุธที่ 17 กรกฎาคม 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้รับประกาศเกียรติคุณเชิดชูเกียรติในฐานะเป็นผู้มีคุณูปการที่พัฒนาและส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมการพิมพ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์ของประเทศไทย ประจำปี 2567 ซึ่งจัดโดยมูลนิธิเงินทุนงานแสดงการพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย ณ ห้องประชุม Passion (802) ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท. ทั้งนี้ มีผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิร่วมงาน ได้แก่ รศ.ดร.อรัญ หาญสืบสาย ประธานมูลนิธิเงินทุนงานแสดงการพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย อาจารย์มยุรี ภาคลำเจียก ที่ปรึกษาสมาคมการพิมพ์ไทย และสมาคมการออกแบบบรรจุภัณฑ์ไทย รศ.ดร.สุชปา เนตรประดิษฐ์ กรรมการมูลนิธิเงินทุนงานแสดงการพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย นายพงศ์ธีระ พัฒนพีระเดช ที่ปรึกษากิตติมศักดิ์และกรรมการกลุ่มฯ การพิมพ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์ นายวิวัฒน์ อุตสาหจิต อุปนายกบริหารสมาคมการบรรจุภัณฑ์ไทย นายพิรัช พิเศษสัจจะ บริษัท ยูแอล พริ้นติ้ง แอนด์ แพ็คเก็จจิ้ง จำกัด พร้อมด้วย นายธีระ กิตติธีรพรชัย ประธานกลุ่มฯ การพิมพ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์ และกรรมการกลุ่มฯ การพิมพ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์
นอกจากนี้ นายเกรียงไกร ยังได้ร่วมเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายพิเศษ ในหัวข้อ "บริบทการพิมพ์ของไทยบนกระแสความยั่งยืน" โดยกล่าวว่า ปัจจุบัน อุตสาหกรรมการพิมพ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์มีความสำคัญและมีโซลูชั่นในการสนับสนุนกระบวนการผลิตในหลากหลายภาคธุรกิจบริการที่มีมูลค่าสูง และนับว่าเป็นหนึ่งในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมที่มีการเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง จึงจำเป็นที่อุตสาหกรรมการพิมพ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์ ควรมุ่งเน้นการผลิตสินค้าที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อขับเคลื่อนให้อุตสาหกรรมมุ่งสู่ความยั่งยืน ตั้งแต่การผลิตไปจนถึงการจัดการบรรจุภัณฑ์ใช้แล้ว ตามแนวคิด BCG Economy และ EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) เพื่อเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมผู้ประกอบการสำหรับมาตรการทางการค้าของต่างประเทศ รวมถึงการนำเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมจากการพิมพ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์สมัยใหม่ เพื่อส่งเสริมการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับผลิตภัณฑ์ เพิ่ม ความแม่นยำในกระบวนการผลิตและการขนส่ง ตลอดจนลดต้นทุนให้กับภาคอุตสาหกรรม
On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), received an honorary recognition for his contributions to the development and promotion of Thailand's printing and packaging industry for the year 2024. The event was organized by the Thailand Printing Exhibition Fund Foundation at the Passion Meeting Room (802), 8th floor of FTI. Notable attendees included Associate Professor Dr. Aran Hansibsai, Chairman of the Thailand Printing Exhibition Fund Foundation; Professor Mayuree Paklumpiang, Advisor of the Thai Printing Association and the Thai Packaging Design Association; Associate Professor Dr. Suchapa Netpradit, Board Member of the Thailand Printing Exhibition Fund Foundation; Mr. Pongtheera Patanapiraedet, Honorary Advisor and Committee Member of the Printing and Packaging Group; Mr. Wiwat Uthasajit, Vice President of the Thai Packaging Association; Mr. Pirach Pisetsajja from UL Printing and Packaging Co., Ltd.; along with Mr. Theera Kittitheerapornchai, Chairman of the Printing and Packaging Group and Committee Member of the Printing and Packaging Group.
In addition, Mr. Kriangkrai also served as a keynote speaker on the topic "The Context of Thai Printing in the Era of Sustainability," stating that the printing and packaging industry currently plays a significant role and provides solutions that support the production processes in various high-value service sectors. It is considered one of the continuously growing industrial sectors. Therefore, the printing and packaging industry must focus on producing environmentally friendly products to drive towards sustainability throughout the entire process, from production to the management of used packaging, in line with the BCG Economy and EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) concepts. This aims to prepare entrepreneurs for foreign trade measures, as well as to incorporate modern printing and packaging technologies and innovations to enhance value addition to products, increase accuracy in production and transportation processes, and reduce costs for the industrial sector.
