เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 5 สิงหาคม 2567 นายปรนนท์ ฐิตะวรรโณ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย ดร.เจนกฤษณ์ คณาธารณา รองผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมรับประทานค่ำเนื่องในโอกาสต้อนรับคณะนักธุรกิจสตาร์ทอัพ (Startup) จากประเทศอิสราเอล เดินทางเยือนไทยระหว่างวันที่ 5-8 สิงหาคม 2567 โดยมีนางสาวพรรณนภา จันทรารมย์ เอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ ประเทศอิสราเอล เป็นเจ้าภาพ ณ ร้านอาหาร Blue Elephant สาทร กรุงเทพฯ
ในการเยือนครั้งนี้ มีผู้ประกอบธุรกิจสตาร์ทอัพเข้าร่วมกว่า 15 บริษัทจากหลายอุตสาหกรรม เช่น อุตสาหกรรมเกษตร ระบบดิจิทัลและความปลอดภัย อุตสาหกรรมการจัดการของเสีย เป็นต้น ซึ่งมีผู้แทนจากทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนไทยเข้าร่วมกว่า 25 ท่าน โดยการเยือนครั้งนี้ เพื่อนำเสนอเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม ที่เป็นประโยชน์สำหรับผู้ประกอบการไทย รวมถึงเพื่อต้องการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อมและการเกษตรระหว่างกัน ทั้งนี้อิสราเอลถือเป็น ประเทศชั้นนำของโลกด้านสตาร์ทอัพ และถูกขนานนามว่าเป็น Startup Nation (ชาติแห่งสตาร์ทอัพ) ของโลก
On Monday, August 5, 2024, Mr. Parnon Thitawanro, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Dr. Jengkrit Kanatharana, Deputy Director-General of FTI, participated in a dinner event welcoming a startup business delegation from Israel, which is visiting Thailand from August 5-8, 2024. This event was hosted by Ms. Pannapa Chanthararam, Ambassador of Thailand to Tel Aviv, Israel, at the Blue Elephant restaurant in Sathorn, Bangkok.
This visit included representatives from over 15 startup companies across various industries, such as agriculture, digital systems and security, and waste management. More than 25 representatives from both Thai public and private sectors also participated in this visit, which aimed to present beneficial technologies and innovations for Thai entrepreneurs, as well as to promote collaboration in environmental and agricultural technology and innovation between the two parties. Notably, Israel is recognized as one of the world's leading countries in startups and is dubbed the Startup Nation.
