ดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นฯ ในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2569 อยู่ที่ระดับ 90.0 ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้น จาก 88.7 ในเดือนมกราคม 2569 ขณะที่ดัชนีคาดการณ์ 3 เดือนข้างหน้าอยู่ที่ระดับ 97.4 ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้น จาก 95.9 ในเดือนมกราคม 2569
เมื่่อพิจารณาองค์ประกอบของดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นภาคอุตสาหกรรม ในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2569 พบว่า องค์ประกอบส่วนใหญ่ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้น ขณะที่ดัชนีคาดการณ์ 3 เดือนข้างหน้า องค์ประกอบส่วนใหญ่ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้น
ในเดือนนี้มีปัจจัยบวกจาก 1) ศาลสูงสุดสหรัฐฯ มีมติให้มาตรการภาษีต่างตอบแทน (Reciprocal Tariff) เป็นโมฆะ อย่างไรก็ตามมีการประกาศใช้มาตรา 122 แห่ง กฎหมายการค้าสหรัฐฯ (The Trade Act 1974) เก็บภาษี 10% กับทุกประเทศ 2) คณะกรรมการนโยบายการเงิน (กนง.) มีมติปรับลดอัตราดอกเบี้ยนโยบายลง 0.25% จาก 1.25% เหลือ 1% 3) การจับจ่ายใช้สอยช่วงเทศกาลตรุษจีน
อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังมีปัจจัยลบจาก 1) ความกังวลต่อสถานการณ์ไฟป่าตามแนวชายแดนไทย กัมพูชา 2) การนำเข้าสินค้าจากต่างประเทศเพิ่มขึ้น โดยในเดือน ม.ค. 2569 ขยายตัว 29.4%YoY โดยเฉพาะการนำเข้าจากจีน 3) ก าลังการผลิตในบางอุตสาหกรรมยังอยู่ในระดับต่ า อาทิ สิ่งทอ เฟอร์นิเจอร์ ผลิตภัณฑ์เซรามิก เครื่องจักรกลเกษตร และเครื่องดื่ม
