ผลการสำรวจดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นภาคอุตสาหกรรมในเดือนมีนาคม 2567 อยู่ที่ระดับ 92.4 ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้น จาก 90.0 ในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2567 เมื่อพิจารณาองค์ประกอบของดัชนีฯ พบว่า ยอดขายโดยรวม คำสั่งซื้อโดยรวม ปริมาณการผลิต และผลประกอบการ ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนก่อนหน้า ทั้งนี้ ความเชื่อมั่นที่ปรับตัวสูงขึ้นมีปัจจัยสนับสนุนจากอุปสงค์ในประเทศที่ทยอยฟื้นตัว สะท้อนจากความต้องการสินค้าอุปโภคบริโภค และสินค้าคงทน อาทิ เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าภายในบ้าน เครื่องปรับอากาศ เฟอร์นิเจอร์ ที่ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้น ขณะที่ภาคการท่องเที่ยวขยายตัวต่อเนื่อง และได้รับอานิสงส์จากมาตรการวีซ่า – ฟรี ในช่วงที่ผ่านมา ในด้านการส่งออกขยายตัวดีขึ้นตามการฟื้นตัวของเศรษฐกิจโลกและเศรษฐกิจประเทศคู่ค้าสำคัญอย่าง สหรัฐฯ อินเดีย และออสเตรเลีย ขณะที่ ในเดือนมีนาคมผู้ประกอบการเร่งผลิตสินค้าก่อนวันหยุดต่อเนื่องในช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์ นอกจากนี้ ผู้ประกอบการยังได้รับผลดีจากมาตรการตรึงราคาน้ำมันดีเซลไม่เกิน 30 บาทต่อลิตร ซึ่งช่วยลดต้นทุนการผลิตและค่าขนส่งให้กับภาคธุรกิจ
แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังมีปัจจัยลบจากปัญหาหนี้ครัวเรือนและภาคธุรกิจที่ยังทรงตัวสูง ส่งผลให้เศรษฐกิจในประเทศยังฟื้นตัวได้อย่างจำกัด นอกจากนี้ ผู้ประกอบการยังมีความกังวลเกี่ยวกับต้นทุนทางการเงินและอัตราดอกเบี้ยที่สูงขึ้น ตลอดจนความไม่แน่นอนเศรษฐกิจโลก โดยเฉพาะเศรษฐกิจจีน ญี่ปุ่นและสหภาพยุโรป ทำให้การส่งออกยังฟื้นตัวได้ไม่เต็มที่

The survey results of the Thai Industries Sentiment Index (TISI) for March 2024 stand at 92.4, an increase from 90.0 in February 2024. When considering the components of the TISI, it is evident that overall sales, overall orders, production volume, and performance have all improved from the previous month. This rise in sentiment is supported by the gradual recovery of domestic demand, which is reflected in the increased demand for consumer goods and durable goods such as household electrical appliances, air conditioners, and furniture. Meanwhile, the tourism sector continues to expand, benefiting from the recent visa-free measures. Export growth has also improved, in line with the recovery of the global economy and the economies of key trading partners such as the United States, India, and Australia. Furthermore, in March, entrepreneurs accelerated production ahead of the continuous holiday during the Songkran Festival. Additionally, entrepreneurs have benefited from the measure to cap diesel prices at no more than 30 baht per liter, which helps reduce production and transportation costs for the business sector. However, there are still negative factors such as high household and business debt levels, which limit the domestic economic recovery. Entrepreneurs remain concerned about rising financial costs and interest rates, as well as uncertainty in the global economy, particularly regarding China, Japan, and the European Union, which hinders a full recovery in exports.
